Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@ScorpioSphinxInACalicoDress fab. Thanks. I'll get ordering from Whittards then. Always a risk when ordering food stuffs. Hopefully the tins of cookies will also have a decent use by date too. I'm going to order hot chocolate too.

InDreamland · 24/08/2020 21:46

Dust and Things still have their up to 50% off sale on. Lovely personalised items. I can vouch for the quality and speedy service.

Cherryrainbow · 24/08/2020 21:47

@northprincess is he into gaming stuff at all or into certain characters from shows etc'? My son is coming up to 7 and loves funko pops of his favourite characters, he also seems to be into the fgteev figures and surprise boxes atm x

FilthyforFirth · 24/08/2020 21:54

Not sure if anyone has used Made with Love and Sparkle website? It has good reviews on trust pilot. They have really lovely personalised snowglobes in the sale for £24.95 and NOW15 gives you 15% off. You do need to pay £4.95 postage for orders under £50 so the discount sort of pays for most of that.

Just ordered one for my sister, so that's another person ticked off!

TheWoollybacksWife · 24/08/2020 21:57

@ClaraLane did you order your stocking hangers from Dibor? I bought a lovely bird feeder earlier this year and they sent me a discount code. FLASH25 gives 25% off tonight only.

nomorewinedayfriday · 24/08/2020 22:09

These carousel wooden music boxes are only £4.45. Got one for DD's first Xmas 😊

Thank you - you’re a star!! Just ordered them, so excited.

lucysmam · 24/08/2020 22:29

Do any of you have colour changing, wi-fi controlled light bulbs? Any recommendations or anything I should be wary of?

Dd1 was angling after one the other week but I made out they're pointless so now she thinks she has no chance of getting one (I did the same with novelty slippers last year & they were both chuffed to bits when they opened them Grin )

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 24/08/2020 22:36

EvilHerbivore · 25/08/2020 01:08

Mines a free sparks tote bag, not sure if that's better or worse?

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 25/08/2020 01:17

lockdownlumpy my eldest dd wasn't very girly. What kind of toys does she like? Is she into small world like houses/figures or more into role play? A bit random but mine at that age loved a pull along trolley (like for holidays) and filling with treasures. You could fill one with smaller gifts to make it a main gift?

northprincess how about funko pop figures? My dds both collect, dd1 is 11 and mostly has hers displayed but sometimes plays with the mini ones. Favourites are the five nights at freddys and Harry potter. How about a games console? Mine love their Nintendo DS or playing on their aunties Switch. New headphones if they have a tablet. A fitbit style watch, a few friends children have them and the kids ones are almost like a game. Board games- my dd is 8 she loves payday, exploding kittens, top trumps, monopoly/game of life junior, jenga, guess who, cluedo and the logo game as part of a team!

friskybivalves · 25/08/2020 01:29

@evilherbivore I had the tote bag already! Quite scratchy and a bit over whiffy of hemp, I thought. I know I'm being a tantrummy toddler but I'd really rather have 15%. Perhaps could use scratchy tote bag to store my Xmas wrap...?
