Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Could anyone please recommend bath bombs that are cheap and change the colour of the water? DC love them but lush is a bit expensive for toddlers.

Or some nicer ones in a set I could break up and use for individual stockings? Thinking of doing my siblings stockings this year as well!

BestofLuck · 22/08/2020 19:30

Thanks @TenCornMaidens Star

UselessInDisguise · 22/08/2020 19:32

@hanpanpeg I have brought my DS (3) a blue shark bath bomb from home bargains for £1 for his stocking. They had other ones, pink, green etc. Might be worth a look?

superstar84 · 22/08/2020 19:32

I've bought the bomb cosmetics bath bomb on amazon, 7 for £10.40 in an Xmas hessian sack

We had them last year and dc were pleased with them

Spam88 · 22/08/2020 19:43

That sylvanian families lighthouse is the same price at The Entertainer but free click and collect (or free postage if you spent another £10).

Bluewavescrashing · 22/08/2020 19:51

Thank you to whoever recommended freeprints. I've just ordered 45 6x4 prints for £2.50 delivered! Need to update our family photo collage in the kitchen!

Dreamingofwalden · 22/08/2020 19:53

@VacMan DH is a half size and I sized up. He says they’re a good fit.

runningpink · 22/08/2020 19:54

Thanks @CottonHeadedNinnyMug @Hurryupbaby11 @TheHalloweenFairy for the garden ideas. I’m away to check them out now.

IggyAce · 22/08/2020 19:57

@HanPanPeg I highly recommend Mrs Snowballs bubble boutique for bath bombs, they are heaps better than lush and turn the water amazing colours and loads cheaper too.

Bert2020 · 22/08/2020 20:11

@HanPanPeg the crayola bath dropz are brilliant for toddlers. Granted you don’t get the fizz or prettiness of a bath bomb but they colour the water well.

runningpink · 22/08/2020 20:29

@HanPanPeg I got a bath bomb in B&M which lit up if that was an option. They had some different ones as well. Think was £3-4. Was at start of year and iv not been back due to lockdown but I assume they will still have in stock

Gustavo1 · 22/08/2020 20:32

Thank you to @Someaddedsugar for the Lakeland codes. I got £5 off a much needed new mop!

FilthyforFirth · 22/08/2020 20:39

How far in advance can you buy the bath bombs? There is a treasure chest that pirate mad DS will love so want to get it for his stocking/christmas eve box. But dont want to get it too early!

VacMan · 22/08/2020 20:41

Excellent thanks @Dreamingofwalden

ADayAlwaysHasToEnd · 22/08/2020 20:42

I used to work in lush and we would say they bath bombs would last a year. They would actually last about 18 months but after a year they are more powdery and fizz much faster. So buying now for Christmas will be fine

neverbreaks · 22/08/2020 20:47

I find the Primark bath bombs are ideal for the children. Mine tend to like them every time they have a bath (if they can get away with it). They’re only £1, and the coloured ones tend to change the colour of the water.

lexloofah · 22/08/2020 20:52

Thanks hiredandsqueak their chart had Ds12 as an XXXL which didn't seem right

Just ordered some PlayStation Pjs and socks from NEXT as well, must stop now, I am a sucker for a theme

Foggyday124 · 22/08/2020 20:53

I bought DD's bath bombs too early last year and they were impossible to hide because the smell gradually filled the house Grin

FilthyforFirth · 22/08/2020 20:57

Thank you both! I'm going to order it now. Just pjs to go for DS christmas eve box now!

FilthyforFirth · 22/08/2020 20:59

Anyone come across any good kids christmas pjs in the sale while I'm at it?! I really need to get better at getting this stuff in the January sales!

PinkDaydreams · 22/08/2020 21:21

@VacMan yes size up with the slippers :)

Christmascaker · 22/08/2020 21:26

The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse book is down to £7 on Amazon, would make a nice gift!

Cherryrainbow · 22/08/2020 21:33

Bath bombs from primark, b&m, home bargains etc. Dont break the bank :) theres also some in body shop for 1.50 that smell amazing and change the colour of the water x
