Thanks @Emiliemoo I checked out their website last year and had a list of things I was going to buy only for me to never find the website again! I will make a note of it this year lol.

Chocolatecake12 · 01/08/2020 18:01

My Rex London Order arrived today and I’m really happy with the products. Thank you to whoever recommended them!

SodOffCovid · 01/08/2020 18:55

I'm getting excited to recievey my Lisa angel stuff, I've placed two orders. What is the jewellery really like? I've ordered some but can't believe it can be so cheap!! Are you doubling up on those crazy prices, so if you budgeted £20 and got it for £2 are you adding extra bits for the recipient? I feel bad giving a gift that cost me so little Blush

SodOffCovid · 01/08/2020 18:57

I guess it's the same with the Dr Botanicals stuff, it's soooo cheap but RRP £25! Do you double up or hope it's enough 😬

Methenyouplus4 · 01/08/2020 19:09

Lisa Angel stuff & Dr B both lovely (in my experience) and lovely packaging. I would certainly would be pleased to receive.

I do tend to have similar guilt (though silly) and cheap presents, so I sometimes add a little extra, so for example a good friend might get a gift that looks £15/£20, but cost £3, so I add a mini bottle of gin/ box of chocs or similar. So still only spend £5.

I think that's sensible or otherwise could get ridiculous, I might spend £6 on a gift that should have been £40 but think that would look obnoxious to hand over at a whole class bday party!

MissRabbitIsExhausted · 01/08/2020 19:35

I've just done another Lisa Angel order, really hope I like the things when it comes but for the money I couldn't not buy more things! Think dp thinks I'm crazy but I'm sure he won't be saying that when I have our Christmas shopping done by September at a fraction of the price 😂

Mommabear20 · 01/08/2020 19:42

@Spam88

Ticked off two people as complete on my Santa's bag app the other day - feeling very smug! Maternity pay stops at the end of August so early shopping is definitely helpful this year.
I love the Santa bag app!! I've never been part of these threads before (only got the app a few weeks ago after birth of 1st DC) but it's lovely to finally have a place to go where my over organization with gift buying isn't going to be judged 😂
Mommabear20 · 01/08/2020 19:46

Had 1st DC late June, we're not going crazy on presents this year as she'll only be 6months old but want to get a few presents but mainly little bits for her stocking. Any ideas as to what we could get for her stocking?

Spam88 · 01/08/2020 19:56

@Mommabear20 my daughter was 7 months her first Christmas. Her stocking includes a ball, bath toy, small board book, little rag doll and toy car. Mostly from toys for a pound.

Focusanddetermination · 01/08/2020 20:00

The Week Junior are doing 6 issues for free, science/nature stuff for kids between about 6/8 and 12

Mommabear20 · 01/08/2020 20:06

@Spam88 amazing! Thank you!

SodOffCovid · 01/08/2020 21:14

@momm my first christmas for DS I brought similar to @Spam88. I found finger bath puppets at primark for £4 and split those up too. They were a hit

SodOffCovid · 01/08/2020 21:20

@Methenyouplus4 thanks, I'm sure I'm overthinking it. I ordered myself a Dr botanicals as I've never had such an expensive cream!! Can't wait Grin others put aside for mother's day and such as it was such a steal Just thrilled

AngelinaRa · 01/08/2020 22:12

Hi everyone. First time posting on the thread but I have lurked since Christmas last year. I managed to get the Dr B soaps last year which were such a hit. Thankyou to everyone that shares ideas and bargains.

Anyway for anyone interested Moonpig have 30% off all cards with 30MPCARD I have ordered Christmas cards and all Birthday cards till March next year successfully using the code and saving £15.

There is also a summer sale on at Menkind which has some really good items for teens.

Redwinestillfine · 01/08/2020 22:15

I'm on the lookout for my generation style dolls if any bargainous deals are to be had

Focusanddetermination · 01/08/2020 22:19

Amazon have the Jelly Bean 1.4kg jar for £10 again, this is a very good deal considering how much even the little packets cost

sorryiasked · 01/08/2020 22:29

@Redwinestillfine have you looked at the our generation world sale?

sorryiasked · 01/08/2020 22:34

Amazon gave geomag back and white set for £17.67 which looks to be about half price.

Christmas 2020 summer bargains!
Gooseysgirl · 01/08/2020 22:47

My Lisa Angel order arrived within a couple of days and I'm delighted with the contents!

Redwinestillfine · 01/08/2020 22:48

I'll check that out @sorryiasked thanks

Gooseysgirl · 01/08/2020 22:50

No I'm not adding any bits to the Lisa Angel stuff... I'm on a really tight budget this year as I'm about to lose most of my income due to a return to uni. It's not a saving for me if I start adding in extra bits 🤷🏻‍♀️

GachaBread · 01/08/2020 22:50

Place marking

FilthyforFirth · 01/08/2020 23:06

Gutted everyone seems to have their Lisa Angel order! Mine was ordered 5 days ago and the invoice said delivery in Sept...

Methenyouplus4 · 01/08/2020 23:25

For Dr B, at what stage of checkout did you add the code?

noodledoodler · 02/08/2020 00:05

@Methenyouplus4 if you can see the 'show order details' at top left hand corner, click on it and it will open a new page of the check out which offers a box to add the promo code 😀
