If anyone knows of any 20% off Lego deals are likely to be coming up I would be grateful to know about them.

@margaritasbythesea There was a discount for lego at the lego store for "May 4th - Star Wars day" I'm not sure if it's still on though!

Monsters love underpants book is currently down to just £1.99 on Amazon. There’s not many left though so be quick!

The spicery has some of its curry books and kits reduced by £5.

Argos has reduced some Lego Star Wars sets.

Ds is after some EarPods for his birthday in a couple of weeks.

Has anyone had “Lego” from aliexpress? Any good?
I’ve took the plunge and ordered a Ariel set and a beauty and the beast set, £25incl shipping. Really want to get the alladin set and the frozen ones but I thought £25 gamble was enough for now till I see the quality of them, hopefully they arrived before dd July bday

Anyone else’s dc obsessed with VAT19? Dd is always looking at stuff on there, and my heart sank when she added some plush cheesy puffs on her bday list...£52!! ....luckily I found elsewhere on eBay coming from Switzerland I think for £20 incl postage! V happy with that!!

I've ordered some Christmas hand towels from Dunelm.

They seem to be quite hidden on the website and I actually came across them by accident, but if you search for Hand towel, then sort low-high... the first two that pop up are Christmas ones.

Father Christmas ones 10p each, reindeer ones 25p each.

I've ordered 2 of each for click and collect as I needed to collect some items anyway. I guess stock will depend on your local store, I can't remember if they're available for delivery or not.

If I don't use them in the house myself, they might make a nice novelty gift with a bottle of wine (or hand soap) when we get invited to dinner parties over Christmas (if social distancing isn't still going on...)

@FireflyGirl thank you for the peppa pig number blocks. I was in home bargains this morning and managed to pick up a box. I was going to put it away for Xmas but I’ve decided to give it to him during lockdown. Birthday in January so he doesn’t get much throughout the year.

I can recommend Brand Alley they have a wide selection of branded stuff, including Boden, you have to sign up to see their stuff but I've been a member for years and never hear from them, so don't worry about being spammed.
