Also very pleased with the Schleich horse set from Argos, much bigger than I anticipated. I wasn't sure whether to give it to Dgc for her birthday next month or keep it until Christmas. I've decided to give it for her birthday in case I have to post the Christmas presents!

I bought the playmobil rocket a few weeks ago when it was reduced to 35 thinking that was a great deal!

Amazon have this monster truck set reduced to £4 although you have to buy two. It’s a slower delivery but not bad, I’ve ordered the two, one for Christmas and one for the present box

@recklessgran that's weird. 2 sets, with different numbers but named the same! They are slightly different though.

Grufallo bookset is back down to £5 on amazon. Lovely set, I bought one the other day and have ordered another for Xmas

Which would be a better watercolour brand for teen DD Daley Rowney or Winsor Newton is I can watch the prices please? Also on the look out for Prismacolor pencils unless there is a good equivalent?
