Wow! Why haven't I discovered this thread earlier? Fantastic tips! Will post my own as I find them

Theimpossiblegirl · 10/07/2020 11:07

I'm still doing the Craft Gin Club from last year. The referral offer isn't quite as good, £10 off a £40 box but it is still good value.
I don't think we have a referral thread yet so feel free to pm me if you want a link.

I've also bought some drink from The Drop Store. Their offers change frequently. Orders take a few days via DHL, you can't stack codes and get free postage with a £40 spend. There's usually a free gift like some alcohol sanitiser or a free sample of gin in your box too.

@NoWordForFluffy

Bargain Max has a sale, plus further discounts on top (£10 off every £50 spent).
Thank u just ordered quite a lot 4 DS
Spam88 · 10/07/2020 11:48

Dropped a LOT of money on bargain max and the entertainer last night. Everyone's getting kinetic sand and geomag for Christmas 👍

My Lisa Angel order has finally been dispatched, but they've emailed to say one of the items is no longer available. I'll never understand how businesses function with poor stock control. I'm particularly upset because it was something for me 😂

whatwillicallmyself · 10/07/2020 13:14

Hi can anyone recommend a good glue gun, I know they come up in aldi or lidl every so often but I have used them and they arent very good after a while, anyone have one they are happy with ?

Clevererthanyou · 10/07/2020 15:17

whatwillicallmyself I bought a cheap and cheerful Topelek 20w got glue gun on Amazon for £14.99 that I like better than the last, it doesn’t spew ridiculous amounts out at once and it heats up really quickly. It seems to be on offer for £12.99 now though if you fancy a punt.

runningpink · 10/07/2020 15:33

I got a glue gun a few years ago from hobbycraft which has been great. No idea what I paid but I’m sure it was reasonable

CottonHeadedNinnyMug · 10/07/2020 16:36

Thanks to the PP who mentioned the Smiggle sale - got some lovely things for both my LO and my nephew at excellent discounts. Glad that people are enjoying their Rex and Lisa Angel orders - two of my 'go-to's'!

Scanner20 · 10/07/2020 16:59

I've got a hobbycraft one which works well. Argos have baby born surprise bath dolls back in stock £35 reduced to £8.75.

OhioOhioOhio · 10/07/2020 17:40

The pounds hop does a decent glue gun for £2.

Reastie · 10/07/2020 18:16

I think mine is from amazon and is fine. Make sure you get lots of glue sticks

DelurkingAJ · 10/07/2020 18:31

Thank you for the Platform 9 and 3/4 sale tip. DS needs a lunch bag for the Juniors (no kitchen so compulsory packed lunch, argh!) and was vibrating with excitement to get a HP one!

whatwillicallmyself · 10/07/2020 18:51

Thanks guys I will check those glue out.

Cherryrainbow · 10/07/2020 21:41

The works have 3 for £5 instore only until Monday I think - looks like it was mostly crafting type stuff i.e. rainbow etching, chalk universe drawing, small meccano type sets, pencil sets x

Allhallowseve · 11/07/2020 06:41

Just finished my rex London order unfortunately it's all for birthdays not yet xmas !
I'm after sponge bob toys but nowhere really seems to make them anymore so they are going for too much on eBay let me know if anyone spots anything please .

Yeknom · 11/07/2020 08:39

Just went in store to sainsburys and they have loads of toys on clearance. A big LOL thing (£12), thomas the tank fuzzy felts (£2.75), and various lego and duplo sets. Worth keeping an eye out x

sorryiasked · 11/07/2020 08:47

This is my stuff from kidsstuffforless
Cost £10 +p&p, came really quickly.

Recommend in particular the Just Imagine colouring book, the glittery tattoo sheets and the Tom Smith tags.

Smiggle have an extra 25% off sale items today.

Brashopper · 11/07/2020 11:18

Boots have a clearance sale. Lots of toys and perfume, but some things have already sold out.

Kolo · 11/07/2020 11:36

Thanks, @sorryiasked. I've ordered that colouring book (amongst other things - ordered a load of scratch and sniff stickers in a moment of nostalgia).

FireflyGirl · 11/07/2020 12:12

Amazon has the Barbie careers ultimate kitchen on lightning deal today, down to £26.99 (from £49.99 Hmm). According to 🐪 it dropped to £15 last December, but usually hovers around £35.
