Sorry, not caught up at all with last thread because of a germy family. I’m figuring this will be the thread with Christmas on though!

No links etc because I’m figuring you know it all now and we’re so nearly there!

Happy Christmas everyone 🎄☃️❄️🎅🏻

@CupoTeap Like your idea of paper bags and stickers, can I ask where you got them from? TIA

DaisyChops · 27/12/2019 08:05

Hiya, has anyone heard of a website called Salacam.site, it's got the lol amazing box on for £62.99 but it seems a bit too good to be true and I'm thinking it must be dodgy?

TheLastQueenOfPop · 27/12/2019 09:32

@DaisyChops that website looks dodgy AF

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 27/12/2019 10:31

Did anyone else get the Boxer robot on sale from The Entertainer? Ours has already stopped working which is typical as DS8 loved it and DS4m also loved it as he wanted to figure out how to crawl after it!

sorryiasked · 27/12/2019 11:21

The happy puzzle company has some good discounts on games and puzzles. I've just bought the aqua maze which is like a marble run but you put water down it instead.

DaisyChops · 27/12/2019 11:22

Thanks @TheLastQueenOfPop I thought so too!

Lc2006 · 27/12/2019 11:33

@Daisychops keep your eye on amazon warehouse deals I got it for 60 odd quid on there few weeks back

DaisyChops · 27/12/2019 11:44

Thanks @Lc2006 will do! I'm hoping they might get some returns after Xmas! Would you recommend it? I had got my dd one of the winter disco dolls with the little LoL surprise doll but it's her birthday in January so I'm thinking of returning this as it was £35 if I can get a good deal on the amazing surprise as there looks loads in it!

MyFriendKimberley · 27/12/2019 14:42

Yoshi (they sell beautiful leather goods) have some great reductions now. They offer free standard delivery on all orders. Lots of items under £10 so ideal for quality stocking fillers or Secret Santa gifts.

These card holders are particularly good value. I've bought a number for ladies and teens who request money or gift cards.

I really enjoyed these threads, thank you Flowers
Stuff I bought that I hadn’t heard of or got a good deal on thanks to these threads: m&s bargain jigsaw advent calendar to put away for next year, Aeropress for my DH, Tangle 3 for £5, know it all book for my BIL... and lots more I’ve probably forgotten about.

Lovemusic33 · 27/12/2019 16:36

I bought a purse from the Yoshi sale as I wanted a bigger one than the one I bought last year, now I’m desperate for a matching bag but they don’t have one in the sale Sad.

Lc2006 · 27/12/2019 16:59

@Daisychops yes I would recommend got it to share between my youngest 2 and they havnt put them down Grin. The amazon warehouse ones stand a chance of the box been slightly damaged but the one we got through was in perfect condition, was really pleased with it

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 27/12/2019 19:37

we also used paper bags for the stockings - brown fruit and veg ones are v cheap on Amazon and can get a variety of sizes. we used regular tape but the fancier washi tape would look good 😁

I bought myself a soap and glory set half price today in boots, the big wonder woman one for £10 plus student discount made it a bargain 😊

Gustavo1 · 27/12/2019 23:01

A fab Christmas in the Gustavo household this year. So many bargain gifts thanks to this thread. We had Jaques jigsaws, Velcro blocks, Dino fingerlings, neom sets, gin boxes, Thornton’s chocs, Harry Potter illustrated editions, playmobil and so much more that I had bought after advice on here. I was thrilled to give them and the recipients were even more thrilled!
Already looking forward to next year!!

Elphaba17 · 28/12/2019 10:37

Daisychops, my DD loved the LOL amazing surprise. Opening it all up was really fun and the dolls were really cute and a great mixture of types. I got the amazon warehouse bargain and was more than happy with that price, but would be reluctant to pay any more for it.

MyFriendKimberley · 28/12/2019 15:51

Any recommendations for reduced Christmas baubles/decorations?

Looking to buy several lots for advent Christmas trees (ie a new decoration each day and a small present to open on 25th). Tree toppers also needed.

Found some good reductions at Rex London, including one for 19p. Ideally, less than £1 each and available online (without extortionate shipping costs). Thank you in advance.

livingthegoodlife · 28/12/2019 16:57

Are your kids young enough for frozen themed baubles? The m&s bauble calendar is down to £3 and v v good value.

doctorboo · 28/12/2019 17:35

All three of my boys have caught chicken pox! So I’m very glad I got some gifts that can be done easily and quietly in their beds or on the sofa.

MyFriendKimberley · 28/12/2019 18:23

@livingthegoodlife Oh, that has potential. Thank you.

Dogmatix34 · 28/12/2019 22:24

That Yoshi website is beautiful! Free delivery as well. Love their Christmas bookworm purse but not sure I need a purse just for Christmas!

UnderTheSleepingBaby · 28/12/2019 22:42

I was in hobbycraft today and playmobil advent calendars were down to £7.50 if any one is organised and after a bargain. Out of stock online but ours still had quite a few on the shelf

CupoTeap · 29/12/2019 09:41

@feltcarrot just someone's from amazon that we're linked to and some personalised labels linked on here also. On my phone but will see if I can find the details

Theonlyoneiknow · 29/12/2019 10:34

Does anyone know if there is a general sales thread around? thanks!

sorryiasked · 29/12/2019 12:25

Littlebird family pass for £12.99 here using code XMAS1299 (offer finishes tonight).
Well worth it for cinema savings if you go more than a couple of times a year, plus discounts on restaurants and days out, plus special events and kids magazine subscriptions

Ewock · 29/12/2019 12:51

Thank you so much for this thread I have saved a lot this Christmas and managed to buy some lovely items. Jist a word of warning I bought my ds a hand held games console from Studio. By Boxing Day it had stopped working. Emailed Studio they got back to me very quickly and will arrange a courier to pick up the item. However will not give a ball park time say morning or evening but have said it could be anytime tomorrow and if they don't turn up I need to allow the next working day as well.
I get that it is tricky with times but with other companies, when a courier is collecting an item to return, I have always been told morning, afternoon or evening. With Studio I potentially have to stay in for 2 days with 2 dc! Not great service at all.
