@WineOrGinOrBoth yours sounds lovely. Might steal. We do bacon sandwiches, coffee and Bucks
Fizz.

AlunWynsKnee · 20/12/2019 00:08

Bagels with cream cheese for me. Pain au Chocolat for everyone else.

Spam88 · 20/12/2019 03:35

We're having sausage and egg muffins. DD (aged 2) will be having croissants, banana and strawberries - that girl LOVES a croissant. Might do some jusrol cinnamon swirls or pain au chocolats as well.

Normally keen on a Buck's Fizz with breakfast but I'm not drinking this year so will be attempting to fake it with orange juice and lemonade.

I'll have the GC for Christmas. I'll help them eat the chocs Santa leaves in their stockings. It's the Christmas Breakfast tradition in Grandma's house 😉

MalarkeyMouse · 20/12/2019 19:44

Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and mushrooms. Yum.

pontiouspilates · 20/12/2019 19:56

Coffee and toast, there is so much ti eat so much for our main meal at around 3pm, I can't have a big breakfast. The toast is really just so I'm not drinking on an empty stomach!

I have a large appetite generally and am overweight so this is not a competitive undereating post, truly - but - how can people face a big exciting cooked breakfast and Christmas dinner on the same day? Mystifies me.

I’ll have a shitload of panettone, orange juice and coffee

Lulu1919 · 20/12/2019 20:02

A croissant with posh jam and some fresh berries.....out for lunch so don't want too much !

Ninkanink · 20/12/2019 20:02

We don’t have Christmas dinner until at least four, probably more like five. Plenty of room for breakfast/snacking/dinner. Xmas Smile

Doilooklikeatourist · 20/12/2019 20:03

We’ve bought some of the frozen croissant, pain au chocolat, and Portuguese custard tarts that well cook on ChrIstmas morning

lilgreen · 20/12/2019 20:04

Smoked salmon and scrambled egg made with a splash of cream, coffee, juice.

lilgreen · 20/12/2019 20:05

Also dinner at 4ish and no lunch.

Lindy2 · 20/12/2019 20:06

Croissants with a choice of toppings of cream cheese, smoked salmon and Parma ham.

Quick and easy but nice. No cooking involved as there will be enough of that for the lunch.

SingingSands · 20/12/2019 20:08

Bucks Fizz
Scrambled eggs on toast
Some more Bucks Fizz
Baileys for pudding

Doje · 20/12/2019 20:09

Last year I made Nigella's Christmas muffins and they were lovely. So we're having those again!!

for me i purposefully cook to much so i dont have to cook for days thats my christmas present lol

left overs from breakfast and dinner all get eaten just not all at once its nibbled over days =)

Stompythedinosaur · 20/12/2019 22:12

First breakfast will be croissants warmed in the oven.

Second breakfast will be bacon sandwiches for dp and the dc and poached eggs in toast for me.

Christmas is a day when I can eat like a hobbit.

ShouldI101 · 20/12/2019 22:14

Nutella crepes

bullyingadvice2017 · 20/12/2019 22:38

Full English. Then drink and chocolate for the rest of the day.

SpeckledyHen · 20/12/2019 22:50

Quality Street Andy coffee.

abitoflight · 20/12/2019 22:54

A gallon of tea and a mince pie

SleighOfSparkliness · 20/12/2019 23:08

This is a nice thread to get us in the mood!

If I’ve got any energy and motivation, then I’d like to make porridge: gluten-free oats, sultanas, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon, ginger, and soya milk. Plus a peppermint tea.

A selection box - doesn’t everyone?
