Thank you @Unihorn for the title.

@weebarra the perfume society orders always take a while. I would chase with them directly on Monday (phone number on their website). The customer service has always been very good. In the past I have chased and the parcel arrived the next morning

doistayordoigo · 14/12/2019 13:04

Does anyone know if any discount codes fro Sports Direct? Just twitched and decided to buy a treadmill for DH and DS to us (and me if I can be bothered!) but bargainous it is not!

PinkDaydreams · 14/12/2019 13:11

Thank you for the photo keyring advice, I’ve managed to find an eBay seller guaranteed to get them here before Christmas Grin I’ve already got the photo, it’s just the blank key ring I needed. Thanks again! Flowers

WisestIsShe · 14/12/2019 13:37

Thanks @BrightonBB I have another board game winging it's way to me Xmas Grin. I do love a good game and that sounds like fun. Oh, it's the same price on Amazon.

applepinkierainbow · 14/12/2019 13:47

@CoffeeAndEnnui I don’t think John Lewis do codes? If you’ve got other stuff to buy and can make the order up to £30 (I think) you can do free click and collect from Waitrose if there’s one near you.

recklessgran · 14/12/2019 15:49

Please can anyone recommend a good board game suitable for 3 11-14 year olds? [Boy/girl twins 14 and boy 11 if that makes any difference]. They are siblings, play well together and like board games although I think they only have a few like monopoly/cleudo etc.
Many thanks.

lotusbell · 14/12/2019 15:55

@recklessgran, some ideas here maybe?

Exploding kittens (NOT the NSFW version)? Or Carcassonne? We also quite like The Game Of Life or Pictionary.

Jammiebammie · 14/12/2019 16:12

@recklessgran I’ve recommended scrawl many a time for that age group, our fave game. Just make sure it’s the 14+ version and not the 17+ if it’s for the 11yo too (our 10yo plays the 14+ and it’s fine).

Our house has been hit with the flu! Everyone down except for me, haven’t even got our tree up yet 🙈 this December is a wash out!

sorryiasked · 14/12/2019 16:47

@recklessgran Scotland Yard is good if they like a "traditional" sort of board game of moving counters and deduction to figure stuff out.

ritzbiscuits · 14/12/2019 17:12

Home Bargains/Quality Save have 2020 annuals very cheap. I got a Lego Icons one for 99p, they also had Harry Potter Lego, Match, Match Attax for 99p. Lego ones include a mini figure too!

Clevererthanyou · 14/12/2019 17:29

Jammie- I feel your pain. My 8 month old kittens have wrecked the tree 3 times and I’m disabled so cannot put it up again Crown Sad they’re lucky I love them!

welshpolarbear · 14/12/2019 17:35

Catan is a fab board game that we've just discovered. My 7 yr old loves the junior one but we have the normal one too and that would be good for teens. It's strategic. Good fun. Not cheap though, but found to be worth it.

Nick ah bugger. Grin

Gustavo1 · 14/12/2019 17:44

Oh no, such a shame about the cocktail man! I have used the site multiple times and always had good service. The delivery of my recent items was slower than expected so I contacted them with a screenshot of my order and a replacement was sent for the next day. Can you call customer services there?

CoffeeAndEnnui · 14/12/2019 19:36

Thank you so much, @mammmamia, that's really useful.

GruffaloStick · 14/12/2019 19:50

Can anyone help with a preferably bargainous gift for a lovely couple who have everything?

Mid 50s, love fine wine and food and have expensive taste. Budget of around 30 but I could stretch a little if needed

SitOnSantasKnee555 · 14/12/2019 19:55

@GruffaloStick

Dare I mention the word Hamper Xmas Confused

Put in some artisan type pasta, sauces and nice bottle of red, maybe some posh parmesan?

CharlieWeasley · 14/12/2019 19:57

Gustavo1 I dont reckon there's much point for me. I ordered 24th Nov and got a dispatch email on 9th dec. If its royal mail i would guess about a week at this time of year? I need the order for wednesdsy so if they resent I wouldnt get it on time. I've had good customer service when I contacted them, I just think they got overwhelmed with orders. The original order email said I'd receive my order in 5-7 days though, which isn't very good. Just keeping my fingers crossed for Monday.

TheGriffle · 14/12/2019 20:29

I fell in love with this gorgeously twee musical Christmas tree on Very, down to £30, quick google brought this one up for £16.50 on Friars. Looks identical but doesn’t say it’s Gisela Graham and seems to be taller than the Very one. So I’ve ordered the cheaper one because it’s beautiful and a tenner cheaper than the Very version.

I have suddenly discovered a need to twitch on a couple of Lakeland things - would anyone kind have a code going begging they could DM me? It would take the edge off the pricing pain...
