Right so apart from any personal / one time only presents... what do you put in every stocking, every year without fail? We always put a clementine, a magazine and a chocolate coin!

Those putting a pound coin in.. is it just loose? Shock We sometimes put money in cards but never in a stocking.

I always put chocolate coins in the kids' stockings, fluffy socks and a tube of pink smarties

Chocolate coins in a net, toothbrush, socks. Shit, have forgotten one DC's socks...

SatsukiKusakabe · 04/12/2019 17:41

We have post-it notes last year and they went mad for them labelling everything. We had ages to have a cup of tea before we even went to look under the tree

CroissantsAtDawn · 04/12/2019 17:45

The only annual thing is chocolate coins.

When I was little it was chocolate coins and a terrys chocolate orange but that chocolate isn't nice now.

This year Im really cutting down on tat so stocking is a lot of chocolate (from the UK for novelty value as we live abroad), bookmarks, pens, small notebook etc.
