Christmas stocking staples

Right so apart from any personal / one time only presents... what do you put in every stocking, every year without fail? We always put a clementine, a magazine and a chocolate coin!

Tube of sweets, choc coins ,shower gel, some sort of puzzle or model to build, satsuma

Christmas slipper socks and chocolate coins here. I can't even really remember what this year's bits are. The good thing about buying through the year is that everything is a surprise for me too.

We always have a £2 coin in the toe, then an apple, an orange, chocolate coins and some socks. The rest changes every year.

Oh and one of my children shares a name with a living creature associated with Christmas Day. Always has one of those in his stocking, has had it on a mug, as a soft toy, on a biscuit time, as a Christmas decoration etc.

The other things are more varied - normally some stationary and a few small toys.

@SittingontheSidelines ohh how cute!! Is t Robin?? Also to those saying Mr Matey - what a classic! I didn’t even know they still made that, I’m going to have a look for some!

DS always gets a chocolate orange and a chocolate Santa, and I'm not quite sure how it started but there's always some kind of poo-related item as well (although he might be too old for that this year).

A pez dispenser and pez sweets.

DS2 has the most awful looking poop emoji one this year which he will be thrilled about.

Chocolate coins and an annual (Beano this year). Same as I always had. Would do the satsuma too, but DS is allergic to oranges.
