Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@NotReve try not on the high street they've got loads of rugby themed things in and they should have some deals on tomorrow

BarkandCheese · 28/11/2019 12:21

soupforbrains this code BFEARLY30 gives 30% off and free delivery at Hype, but I think runs out tomorrow.

The lucky dip bags were a bit hit miss, I’m glad I didn’t go for them as my DD wouldn’t have wanted the Spongebob bags most people seemed to get.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 28/11/2019 12:32

@Acunningruse thanks so much. I'll pick some up tomorrow.

Any book recommendations for a 15 year old boy. I've got my 13 year old the Phillip Pullman set but stuck on another good selection for older ds.

DreamingofSunshine · 28/11/2019 12:32

Sorry, photo of the stockings attached. I'm getting make up bags for DM and my friends

Name changed but been here since the first thread.

Can anyone recommend a good balance bike for almost 2 year old DS? He's a little hooligan so we need something robust!

And if anyone knows of any Asos codes that would be fab.

recklessgran · 28/11/2019 12:39

Anyone intending to buy from BOUX AVENUE I have a code for 1st to 24th December which gives 10 off 50, 20 off 75 or 30 off 100.
Code is DECKTHEHALLS

andi76 · 28/11/2019 12:47

@BeauticianNotMagician81 - how about Robin Hobb? Or Raymond Feist?

tentative3 · 28/11/2019 12:53

Please may I have a Hotel Chocolat £5 off £30 code if anyone has one to spare?

SlayingDragons · 28/11/2019 12:53

Not a Black Friday bargain but definitely worth a mention for anyone who will be in and around London tomorrow.

Allbirds (which is a brand I always recommend) are turning their backs on Black Friday and closing their Covent Garden store for the day and changing it into a place to come and hang out and do crafts!

Apologies for the multiple photos but this came to me in an email and there is more info on the email than online, so this was the easiest way to share it.

If I was in London I would definitely be there.

@BeauticianNotMagician81 try here for books

recklessgran · 28/11/2019 13:00

@tentative3 Try WRMHC but if that doesn't work Code CHOC09 should give you 9% off.

tinysnickersaremyfavourite · 28/11/2019 13:02

Frog tadpole balance bikes are fab. They are expensive new, but we bought second hand for DS xmas when he was 2 - they don't know the difference at that age.
The advantage is that they are light so easy for parent to carry when child gives up has tantrum
Resale value also good.

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 28/11/2019 13:04

Half price Adrenalyn (football cards) advent calendar on Amazon today. Typically Ds collects match attax so no use for me but if anyone collects them & even doesn't want a calendar this works out a cheap way to get lots of cards Advent.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 28/11/2019 13:04

@thebrightestcoloursfillmyhead can’t recommend cruzee enough. DS rode his non stop around our farm from 18 months and while he has to fold himself up like origami, he is still doing stunts on it at 5

VividImagination · 28/11/2019 13:07

@BeauticianNotMagician81 has he read The Hunger Games. They are ds3’s favourite at the moment. Ds2 was heavy into Percy Jackson (Rick Riordan) at that age but I’ve not read any of them myself.

Sux2buthen · 28/11/2019 13:09

Desperate plea for help here. Almost 3 year old daughter is dead set certain that she is getting a George bike for Christmas. George from peppa pig. She's not being grabby, she's just absolutely sure that's what Santa will bring. I hoped she would change her mind but even the thought of this mystical bike is making her beam.
Trouble is can't find one anywhere. At all. I've found a balance bike but so far that's it.
(Had a peppa scooter all lined up in my head ready for her Hmm) she's a great girl I'd love to do this if anyone has seen one or knows anywhere new I could look it would make her Christmas! Thankyou

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 28/11/2019 13:11

This PJ masks advent calendar looks pretty good for £11.24 too PJ Masks.

Duckswaddle · 28/11/2019 13:11

Has anyone seen any bargains on a Sega Megadrive Mini? It's about £60 at the moment but I'm sure there must be a further discount to be had somewhere!!

tentative3 · 28/11/2019 13:12

Thank you!

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 28/11/2019 13:13

@Sux2buthen The entertainer does a George pig bike.

Acunningruse · 28/11/2019 13:13

@Sux2buthen this one from synths Toys is predominately Peppa but does have George on the seat?

I can't thank you both enough Grin

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 28/11/2019 13:14

Thank you for all the book recommendations. I've gone with the hunger games Smile

Acunningruse · 28/11/2019 13:15

@Sux2buthen if you wanted a proper bike and to spend a bit more this one has George on the seat also.

Abercrombie & Fitch have some 30% off BF discounts. I don’t know if they’ll have bigger discounts tomorrow (I got a coat down from £220 to £80 a few years ago on BF) but in addition to the discounts already there, if you sign up for the A&F rewards scheme you can add in a code and get an additional 15% off. It says that the 15% can’t be stacked with other discounts or promos but it worked for me on the jeans which were already 30% off for BF.

I know they’re not cheap to begin with but I swear by A&F jeans having started buying them when we lived in the US and they fit me so well and wear so well. I have finally had to give up my pair of high rise skinnies which I bought 6 years ago and which have been worn probably on average least 2/3 days a week ever since. I have now managed to replace them for £41.65 when they are £70 full price. Got myself 2 pairs because I love them so much and got free delivery too.

The only thing with A&F is the expensive returns cost so make sure you know your sizes before you buy.
