Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Chocolateteabag what about a fancy dress costume? You can often pick up Matilda/fantastic mr fox etc in the sales from world book day - TU currently have 20% off. Might be too old for fancy dress not sure x

Yeknom · 27/11/2019 16:57

@Chocolateteabag Not sure where you're located but tickets to the roald Dahl museum??

RickOShay · 27/11/2019 17:04

@Chocolateteabag what about Roald Dahl top trumps? £4.99 on Amazon. They are always fun.

RickOShay · 27/11/2019 17:05

Sorry Grin just reread your post!
Great minds and all that

Autumndaysarehereagain · 27/11/2019 17:06

Roald Dahl museum is great, you can easily get there from London or the midlands bu train.

Puffinhead · 27/11/2019 17:15

@Sausagis, I’ve also bought Revolution for my DD13 - good prices and fun packaging.

SlayingDragons · 27/11/2019 17:18

@Chocolateteabag - the Roald Dahl website has a shop and there are tons of different things on there - games, puzzles, bedding! We ended up buying stuff elsewhere (like Amazon) because it was cheaper than the RD website but it was great for ideas. Our DDs all got RD bedding 3/4 years ago and they still love them.

Amazonmulu · 27/11/2019 17:18

DD 3 has asked Santa for a doll that walks and talks, and closes its eyes when it lies down Shock Does such a thing exist? Last year she wanted yellow spoons and a giant monkey so Hmm Please help me wise ones :( Where can I find such a doll??

SlayingDragons · 27/11/2019 17:21

Or how about a collection of soft toy animals to go with the books? So a fox for Fantastic Mr Fox, a tortoise for Esio Trot, a duck for The Magic Finger, a giraffe/monkey/pelican for the Giraffe the Pelly & Me, Bugs for James & the Giant Peach etc...

RenardeRenarde · 27/11/2019 17:21

Some Cult Beauty codes just through by email:

The RD Revolting Recipes cookbook is pretty good too

Prizepudding · 27/11/2019 17:34

Has anyone bought an iPhone with Very using the discount for new credit accounts, can’t work out if there is a hidden catch in there somewhere.

RenardeRenarde · 27/11/2019 17:40

&Amazonmulu Has she been watching Peppa pig by any chance?! I’ve had a search and this seems like a popular request courtesy of the PP Xmas episode! I can’t find one though :( if she could forgo the closing eyes Baby Wow Megan looks ok and is on sale at Very

BigmouseLittlehouse · 27/11/2019 17:50

@Chocolateteabag - my DS really liked the roald dahl monopoly. It often drops in price on amazon

tinysnickersaremyfavourite · 27/11/2019 17:51

Mysteriously I got 2 whackamoles and a packet of bluetack for £13.33, less than the cost of one mole... But I am not moaning!

Amazonmulu · 27/11/2019 17:54

Renarderenarde I think that's exactly where she go it from Grin I'll have a look at the one you suggested!

Maranello · 27/11/2019 17:55

@SilverLinings2014 if you are still in search of a discount for AllBeauty it looks as if you can get 10% off (and I get 10% off a future order) using my referral code. It's not a huge bargain! But if it helps, I'll pop it on the referrals thread and tag you there.

noodledoodler · 27/11/2019 17:56

For anyone still looking at make your own advent calendars, I got a xmas tree shaped wooden box cabinet stack in the works today, the stickers are from poundland

noodledoodler · 27/11/2019 17:57

Whoops! £10 for the cabinet

@Amazonmulu had to laugh when reading that, after two daughters I knew exactly where she got the idea! Grin

livingthegoodlife · 27/11/2019 18:07

Definitely a Peppa pig quote! Lol. We went through the same thing!!

OhRex · 27/11/2019 18:16

Not sure what age your Ronald Dahl fans were but my 8yr old got a George’s marvellous medicine science experiments book and loved it! @Chocolateteabag

Carrie76 · 27/11/2019 18:17

Amazon have got the ThinkFun Rush Hour game down to £10.79. My DS has been asking it for a while so I've been watching for months and this is the cheapest I've seen it.
Babi Pur have also got a Black Friday 10% off with the code GREEN and if you order over £30 with a Kleen Kanteen Purchase in there, you get a free 4 pack of their stainless steel straws which are normally £10.
