Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Can anyone advise me? Ds (13) plays on his PS4 but also sometimes suffers migraines. I've read that backlight strips on the tv can help with eye strain - can anyone recommend any bargain out but good ones? Also I'm clueless technology wise!

Just a note to say if anyone does Tesco online on the app remember and check the eligible vouchers before checking out I had one for £5 off a £25 spend on books etc for example

Maranello · 26/11/2019 23:14

@1stMrsF if you're still looking for a Fatface code, I can pass on my referral link, which gives you 15% off (and me 15% off my next order, for full disclosure!). I used @SkintSanta's referral earlier this week. I'll post it on the referral thread!

noodledoodler · 26/11/2019 23:19

@thaegumathteth amazon do blue light blocking gaming glasses, they might be worth a try. (Sorry I couldn't copy the link but these are the ones in my basket, on offer at the min)

thaegumathteth · 26/11/2019 23:22

Thanks @noodledoodler they look great but he is supposed to wears glasses already

BubbleTravel · 26/11/2019 23:27

Hopefully these might be of use to someone Smile

I have questions too! I need a mermaid tail blanket, I seem to remember them everywhere last year (Primark etc) but not really seen them this year. Not Alli, has to be UK please as I don’t trust postage now we’re heading in to December.

Short Hunter wellies in a fun colour? Pink or Purple preferably. I can only find them for about £80, anyone seen cheaper anywhere please?

Harry Potter themed toys suitable for a 3 year old, it all seems to be for older children but DD very into HP at the moment.

A “nice perfume with oud notes”. No effing idea on that one, anyone have any idea please?

Thank you

@thaegumathteth maybe he could get a blue tint added to his prescription glasses? Its not hideously expensive and can make a big difference if the blue light is contributing to migraine, hope he finds something that helps 😀

slithytove · 26/11/2019 23:31

Tk Max have mermaid blankets and globes in stock for those asking

CandyCaneLane0 · 26/11/2019 23:35

Matalan have mermaid blankets too

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 26/11/2019 23:36

@imsorryiasked that’s exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping to find it cheaper but I think I have to accept that just because I want something to be cheap it doesn’t have any influence on the price it actually is Blush Grin

Jacopone · 26/11/2019 23:39

@BubbleTravel - there are some deals on Hunter wellies at M&M Direct here either £40 or £50. Not particularly fun colours but there is a Black Grape and some glossy ones too.

passremarkable · 27/11/2019 00:24

Hello, thanks so much for all the bargains. Doing really well out of it. I have a big favour. Does anyone have a LAKELAND discount code that I could use please... need to make a sizeable birthday cake for DS1 this weekend and equipment cost is stacking up. Thank you!!!

NoSquirrels · 27/11/2019 00:58

Bubble the fragrance with 'oud notes' is a bit wanky but try these (not sure on your budget):

Boots £10

M&S £22

John Lewis £48

There's also a nice offer on Molton Brown shower gel

NoSquirrels · 27/11/2019 01:08

I’ve seen mention of The Spicery in earlier threads, does anyone have any discount/referral codes please? It looks perfect for FIL!
@LongLeggedLovely - there's a couple of codes on the first referrals thread - they use your real name so you might need a PM to get a code. Happy to help if you like (I am a big fan of their stuff), or you can look at the other people who have referred too.

CupoTeap · 27/11/2019 05:24

@BubbleTravel I saw a sequinned one in Aldi yesterday think it was 14.99.

DaisyChops · 27/11/2019 06:07

Think someone was looking for the big hot wheels garage, it's now £74.99 on amazon deal of the day along with some other hot wheels stuff.

Also some games on offer including rush hour and bugs in the kitchen.

DragonMamma · 27/11/2019 06:22

Nike have a sale on which stacks with a 30% off code ADDON30.

You can get the (god awful, but popular) Air Max 97s for £46 instead of £95 👍🏻

NoWordForFluffy · 27/11/2019 06:30

The Aeropress has dropped to £17.99 on Amazon now if anyone is still looking. Half gutted I didn't wait, but glad I supported a local company too!

Barbararara · 27/11/2019 06:36

For RoI:
Home Focus at Hickeys have 20% off instore and online

easons have 30% off online only use code BLACK

arnotts have 20% off most things

Smyths have €10 off €100 and €5 off €50 vouchers at the moment

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 27/11/2019 06:56

@DragonMamma thanks for the code. I've been waiting for a Nike one. Ds1 14 wants the awful Air Force 1s for his birthday. Lessens the pain of having to buy them slightly reduced.

Vebrithien · 27/11/2019 07:04

Morning all,

Very early days, but have been using the hair conditioner bar from the Friendly Soap company (went for lavender and geranium) and my hair feels AMAZING!

I'll go over the the shampoo bar when my current (huge) bottle runs out, but have been very impressed with the conditioner.
I got the travel tin too, plus the gift set for a friend and the shampoo bar for me too.
Unless you spend £50, there doesn't seem to be a way around the P&P, however there was a code to take 10% off, so at least there is less of a hit.

Thank you to whoever recommended them!

For reference, I have waist length hair, so usually need loads of conditioner.

lancslass17 · 27/11/2019 07:07

@passremarkable i dont have a code but topcashback had 4% yesterday and Santander offers 10% if you bank with them x
