Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

doctorboo · 26/11/2019 19:32

@ Dreamingofwalden I’m pretty sure I saw a beautiful book on horses on either the book people website or the works website. I dithered about getting it, and in the end didn’t because I thought it was too grown up for my five year old niece is horse mad who has her own horse

doctorboo · 26/11/2019 19:35

The Book People have an extra 10% off their Black Friday sale with code: EXTRA10

PoopaPoopa · 26/11/2019 19:44

Thank you @friskybivalves and @Dreamingofwalden for the AirPod info Flowers

Does anyone else listen to Santa Radio? I have it on every year and it really feels like Christmas is coming when I tune in. But my radio can’t find it this year Sad. I don’t know if it’s gone altogether or if it’s changed stations. If anyone has managed to pick it up would be grateful if you could let me know so I can try and find it. I know there are other Christmas stations but I really like this one as it’s hosted by Santa himself and is just so full of fun and joy, they play good tunes too, some of the ones I’ve been listening to today haven’t been very good/been too repetitive or played rubbish covers.

villamariavintrapp · 26/11/2019 19:45

Not sure when it started, but can preorder Aldi's gifts for kids now

lotusbell · 26/11/2019 19:51

Is the Birchbox 2 for £5 offer November's Frozen box plus one from the past? I dont need them. I don't use the make up in them, I don't need them. I don't. Really. I don't.Hmm

Barbararara · 26/11/2019 19:51

@onedayatatime73 I got a brilliant Black Friday deal when I booked a hotel a couple of years ago. Definitely worth checking for.

PinkDaydreams · 26/11/2019 19:53

Walked into town to get the personalized Nutella from Debenhams......printer apparently broken! Not happy! Any mumsnetters planning to go to Liverpool Debenhams for Nutella then don’t bother!

Yeknom · 26/11/2019 19:56

Oh @PoopaPoopa I want Santa radio! I've never heard of it before but now I need it in my life!!

roosterroo · 26/11/2019 20:01

Ikea deal is on until 1st December ! Happy shopping

Forgot to give the code blackblack gives 25% off here www.pearlandearl.com
Smile

PoopaPoopa · 26/11/2019 20:02

Haha @Yeknom Hopefully someone can point us in the right direction 🤞🏻🎅🏻

bakingcupcakes · 26/11/2019 20:07

@onedayatatime73 Truprint have got 50% off everything with the code BLACK19 or there's 60% off 8x6 hardcover book using BFBOOK19. Don't know if these are any good. I order prints from them sometimes but haven't ordered the books. The offers finish on the 29th.

SilverLinings2014 · 26/11/2019 20:10

Could anyone recommend a good dash cam for my sister who seems to be a magnet for idiots rear ending her? It's happened twice this year, both times whilst she was parked, and the first time the other driver lied to the insurers and tried to blame my sister. Luckily there were independent witnesses.

I have no idea what you need in a good dash cam, or what they cost.

MartyDoc · 26/11/2019 20:12

So sorry I can’t remember who was looking.. but faux fur beanbags online at Aldi £49.99.
There website is super busy with (I think) people trying to get Kevin the carrot 🥕!

Iamallatsea · 26/11/2019 20:13

@PinkDaydreams that’s an interesting coincidence, I made a special trip to my nearest Debenhams in Aberdeen for Nutella, stacks of jars but a sign up saying the printer was broken and not going to be fixed for a week.
Maybe it’s an epidemic?
I won’t bother going back.

Borris · 26/11/2019 20:15

@Dreamingofwalden my dd is 9 and horsemad and in the summer bought some books at the exmoor pony centre called Katy's Wild Foal. It was a series about a girl who rescues a pony. DD loved it and so I've bought a couple more in the range from amazon.

Borris · 26/11/2019 20:16

I'd also love an M&S code if anyone still has them left

Happychappy33 · 26/11/2019 20:18

I think the M&S 20% off finished yesterday ☹️

JBFletcherstypewriter · 26/11/2019 20:20

If anyone is looking for a nice book to gift I was really pleased with secrets of winter . It's one of the shine a light books, best read by torchlight under the covers. Video review <a class="break-all" href="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3D85BP9_9R5XM&ved=2ahUKEwj5pe_S04jmAhVkt3EKHSVIBFEQo7QBMAd6BAgAEBA&usg=AOvVaw0u75OvciOiWzvZf3EPNxJm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here

Amazon have some of the other shine a light books at pretty good prices too eg dinosaurs (haven't checked other sites for prices)

onedayatatime73 · 26/11/2019 20:25

@JBFletcherstypewriter thank you so much.
