Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Smelly50, thanks I'll have a look at that as well.

imsorryiasked · 26/11/2019 15:12

@Nearlyadoctor there's some reviews here

Shufflebum · 26/11/2019 15:14

Anyone seen cheap Champion hoodies or sweatshirts for girls, well women! Can’t believe it’s a wanted brand these days!

BigmouseLittlehouse · 26/11/2019 15:21

Sorry I have one more ask for help! My niece (13) has asked for some kawaii stuff. Budget is about £20, she likes to draw etc. I know someone mentioned art box on a previous thread but can anyone recommend what sort of stuff might be a good buy ( I have 2 DS primary age so no idea about kawaii!)

BeaLola · 26/11/2019 15:22

Morrison's do large bottles of coffee syrups for a reasonable price

imsorryiasked · 26/11/2019 15:23

@Shufflebum JD sports have them

101Robin · 26/11/2019 15:25

15:21BigmouseLittlehouse Kawaii is a little hard this time of year because most of it ships from Asia. However, if you're willing to risk it, look at the Blippo sale (it's called the pink Friday sale). Loads of kawaii stationery, snacks, stickers etc all for a great price. Their website says 1-3 weeks shipping to the UK so it's possible to get it on time

mrs12345 · 26/11/2019 15:29

Big mouse - the boom people have a great book ‘how to draw kawaii’ (£2.99) plus a set of kawaii pencils ‘

BigmouseLittlehouse · 26/11/2019 15:31

Thanks everyone

Yes @101Robin that’s my worry re timing too ( have been asking DN and Dsis for a while!)

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 26/11/2019 15:37

Does anyone remember those funny teacher stickers? Possibly Etsy? I haven’t received mine and I can’t remember if it was Etsy or not.

Dreamingofwalden · 26/11/2019 15:37

@Fueledwithfairydustandgin and @PinkJam. Great recommendations. My son received Harvey the Harvester - the Wow toy - last Christmas from his cousin. It’s been very popular with him and all his toddler friends. I tried to avoid lots of plastic toys but I’ve been very impressed with this one and would happily buy it as a gift for someone else.
I love Plan Toys. I think the pull along crocodile is great it makes a satisfying clickety clack noise. It’s always played with at Twins Club.

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 26/11/2019 15:40

I got the funny stickers yesterday @NaturalBlondeYeahRight

They were from etsy

MulberryPeony · 26/11/2019 15:42

@BigmouseLittlehouse promarker pen sets are half price in hobbycraft.

1stMrsF · 26/11/2019 15:45

@recklessgran thank you, those look lovely.

PoopaPoopa · 26/11/2019 15:47

I need guidance on AirPods 😭
So when they’ve been mentioned before I’ve just scrolled past as I didn’t think I needed to know about them. But my dd has just asked for them for Christmas.
Definitely can’t afford the expensive ones but I seem to recall someone talking about decent non Apple ones that were a good price? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Also, regarding the birchboxes, mine didn’t come in time for Christmas last year. I think they were really overwhelmed with all the orders they had. But to be fair they did refund me so I had the two boxes for free which was pretty decent customer service. Hopefully this year they will have put more staff on to account for the extra interest in their offers!

Who was looking for little gifts for their fil? Someone a few threads back mentioned glasses cleaning cloths where you could get a photo put on the cloth and I’m sure they were only a couple of £. I thought it was a really sweet idea for someone difficult to buy for (but no one on my family wears glasses). I think the link is in the top post.

JaneyJimplin · 26/11/2019 15:52

I ordered some stuff from Ali Express for the first time ever. I think I ordered about 3 weeks ago but it's still not arrived. Is that normal?

Nearlyadoctor · 26/11/2019 15:54

Thanks @imsorryiasked

moodymary · 26/11/2019 16:01

@shufflebum also try TK Maxx, I bought my son a champion hoodie from there and they had some Fila as well - another blast from the past!

Rubyroo73 · 26/11/2019 16:03

@BigmouseLittlehouse
My daughter loves Kawaii too. This is a fab book - A4 size and thick, good quality (the one previousy mentioned is cute for the price but smaller). Kawaii

Some nice pens/cute rubbers/stationary to go with it and that would be a lovely present.

Another nice stocking filler is this cute cook book, perhaps with some baking accessories in a nice pastal colour?

www.tofucute.com is a UK based shop that sells all things Kawaii too. Think squishies, cute plush toys, stationary and snacks.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 26/11/2019 16:03

Thank you @BernardBlacksWineIceLolly that’s what I thought but I can’t find an email. I’ll wait a few more days then maybe try and contact. Wondering if I hit the final ‘buy it’ button

recklessgran · 26/11/2019 16:08

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight I haven't received my stickers either - perfect for one of my DD's stockings. I've just checked my e-mail confirmation and I ordered on 17th Nov and my expected delivery is 26th Nov - 4th Dec. So, any day I expect.

Letsbegin · 26/11/2019 16:17

Really nice gingerbread house kits in Lidl for 4.99. Come with premade little sugar people and everything!
