Putting Tree Up.

When do you all put your tree up for Christmas?
Saw on Instagram today 4 people I know who have put their tree up today! 😳

My decorations are in loft, either blue, silver theme or red, green and gold.

Odd new decoration

After a family birthday in mid/late December.

And if course it stays up until Twelfth Night.

I think before Advent Sunday is too early

Fair point - from 1 Dec to 6 Jan is over 5 weeks, so much longer to enjoy them

1st December til first January, real tree.
My ds birthday is 29th November, he asked for a Christmas tree for his 3rd birthday, every year since he puts his up in his bedroom on his birthday!

Mine doesn't go up until last week November- first week December, all depending when we are all available as with the amount of decorations I have it's all hands on deck. Doesn't bother me in the slightest if people choose to decorate now, their house their rules. They're not hurting anyone.

Put it up 1st December. Take it down 31st December. Don’t like Xmas decs up in the new year.

Last day of November. It is my little son's birthday on the 1st and he loves the tree being up as it adds to his excitement. Otherwise it would be around the 7th.

Up 21st December down 1st January at the latest, I love Christmas and think the special something is lost in starting too early.

Usually 1st of December but DD will be 20 months so I'm waiting a bit longer this year as I know I'll be spending all day moving her away from it!

Ours go up in time for a family birthday on the 24th November as the family member adores Christmas and loves the house looking festive on their birthday
To those saying people with trees up now are crazy or have dull lives can you please remember that some families may have very good reasons for celebrating Christmas early

Usually about a week before and its down before New Year. Any longer than that would drive me batchy!

Afternoon of my birthday then down on 2nd January. 15 days is more than enough.

Goodness. We haven't even had bonfire night yet!

I usually put ours up mid Dec but it's our first Xmas with DS so I'm going to put it up Dec 1st this year. Real tree of course!

Up 1/12. Down 28 or 29 December.

Up when I break up from school. Down 12th night.

Usually the third weekend in December for us, then down on January 5th. This year the trees will go up as close to that weekend as possible, but we've just moved house so I'm not sure of anything much at the moment.

December sometime, down the day after Boxing Day

I check the lights at the start of December but the tree & decorations go up in stages over 22nd, 23rd & 24th December.
It all gets taken down on 1st January.

Real tree - the weekend closest to the 10th Dec.

A few decs start to go out around the end of November, though...

Ours goes up on the evening of my dds birthday 6th December. It’s a tradition that we do her birthday stuff and then come home and put the tree up

After 1st December as we have a family birthday then. Usually takes a few days though as I do go all out!

Around 9th December depending when the weekend is.
