Thanks @VividImagination for title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Shoeaholics have some handbags down to £14 from around £50. Julian McDonald, Faith, thst sort of thing.

15OFFALL gives another 15% off. It’s £3 delivery so I bought a bag for dd1 and mil for £26.80 delivered all in and saved about £66 pounds on them.

imsorryiasked · 02/11/2019 10:54

@22Giraffes they have good reviews here

wibdib · 02/11/2019 10:59

@hellhoundhere there was a deal for an iPhone 8 (I think!) on the money saving expert newsletter last week - usually it’s cheaper to buy a phone outright and get a separate Sim only deal rather than being tied into a contract, however they had one that worked out cheaper for a reasonable phone and sim deal. They have great info on buying iPhones too and current good deals.

You can get some great second hand deals for iPhones too - i got one for ds’s first phone from Argos - they used to do them around Black Friday. Not quite as cheap as going to eBay or some of the resellers that I hadn’t heard of but I liked the security of a big name. Maybe there will be people on this thread that can recommend other good places for good second hand phones?

Last year there were good deals around Black Friday on sim only deals too.

Check out U Switch and money supermarket for up to date deals and special offers - also make sure you figure out which is the best network to get her connected to.

22Giraffes · 02/11/2019 11:00

@imsorryiasked Thanks, trust pilot is normally my go-to for reviews, I just wish there were more than 3! Appreciate you taking the time to look Smile

BadgerFace · 02/11/2019 11:00

20% off full price items at this works with code HB19 until 18/12/19. I’ve been meaning to try their sleep spray for DD1 for ages so finally going to buy some. Might be a good stocking filler for others!

lolarabbit · 02/11/2019 11:14

Thanks for the Gnaw chocolate recommendation @bikinibottommuffintop - I'd just received some small samples in craft gin box so seemed like serendipity (if that's the right word) to find an offer code. 20% off with CRAFT20 for next few days only, and if you live in the east of England like me you can make out it was a carefully thought out, locally sourced gift (from Gnawfolk/ Norfolk)!

PoopaPoopa · 02/11/2019 11:30

Does anyone have a Cath kidson promo code by any chance?
Thanks for new thread reastie!

Canklesforankles · 02/11/2019 11:33

@wibdib
My good Housekeeping magazine just arrived in post in envelope with the 51 recipes supplement. It might be worth contacting them?

MulberryPeony · 02/11/2019 11:35

@Jessica78 I’d love that and I’m sadly not a teen Blush

I got a very code 10OFF for £10 off £100 spend for existing customers but I’m going to hold off for a £20 off voucher personally.

@BadgerFace the sleep spray is lovely. Another one that is a different scent but still lovely is the Mio liquid yoga www.lookfantastic.com/mio-skincare-liquid-yoga-travel-size-duo/12132029.html?affil=thggpsad-bundle&switchcurrency=GBP&shippingcountry=GB&thg_ppc_campaign=71700000054185886&adtype=pla&product_id=12132029&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI68bIyrfL5QIVmK3tCh0_rgPcEAQYASABEgKh7_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

MulberryPeony · 02/11/2019 11:37

Oh meant to say thanks to whoever recommend the Karcher W1 a few threads back. I’m half way though the house and frankly disgusted at the dirty water I’m collecting Halo

Nordicwannabe · 02/11/2019 11:38

@22Giraffes - I've used snazal. They do great value collections, much like book people. When I first discovered them both, I was a bit shocked at how much I'd been paying over the odds for children's books (often the popular ones which appear in collections) for my friends' kids over the years!

Snazal did make a mistake in one of my orders, but fixed it when I got in touch so no problem.

Barbarara · 02/11/2019 11:43

can anyone recommend a good quality and hopefully bargainous silk pillowcase? The prices vary massively on the different sites I’ve checked and I’d be happier with a recommendation

wibdib · 02/11/2019 11:44

@Canklesforankles that’s good to know - I was just grumping and muttering rather thank thinking of doing anything sensible to rectify the situation! So thank you Flowers

Looking through the mag there’s a code for 20% off their ‘showcase’ beauty box so it becomes £39 rather than £49. Supposed to be worth £170, 8 full sized products, no idea how good they are...

Code is OFFER20 and can be found at:
www.showcase beauty.com/ghbox

SmellyToes1 · 02/11/2019 11:56

@Jessica78
I love the look of that, thank you. Might be a good joint present for dd and I

LetMeLayAmongTheStars · 02/11/2019 11:59

@hellhoundhere I can second the recommendation for music magpie, I had an iPhone from there and had no issues with it and the price was reasonable.
We’ve also bought phones and devices from Game in the past and they’ve been brilliant, they exhanged a 3DS console no questions asked when I noted a problem with it

LetMeLayAmongTheStars · 02/11/2019 12:00

@Barbarara Jasmine silk pillowcases are lovely, I have the half silk/half cotton (so Cotton on underside) and the price was v reasonable

I believe someone posted a code on the last thread for Jasmine Silk too

TheGirlWhoLived · 02/11/2019 12:02

I can’t remember who wanted the recipe section of good housekeeping, but I bought mine from Tesco and don’t want that bit- if you wanted to pm me I can post mine out to you!

SteveHarringtonsHair · 02/11/2019 12:07

New Look have £10 off a £50 shop and £25 off £100 shop ends today. Use code WORLDCUP
Might be good for those shopping for teens.

22Giraffes · 02/11/2019 12:09

@Nordicwannabe yay, just what I wanted to hear! I use the book people quite often but had never come across Snazle. I will put in my order now and that's my mum sorted Grin thanks!

imsorryiasked · 02/11/2019 12:24

Snazal apart to have the illustrated harry potter 3 book set for £32 here pls check they're the right ones though (they have other ones listed for higher prices too)

IDontDrinkTea · 02/11/2019 12:27

Does anyone remember what the good housekeeping deal was? Save me scrolling back through all the old threads!

NoWordForFluffy · 02/11/2019 12:29

There was £10 cash back from Top Cashback and it was £9.99 for 6 issues and a recipe book.

MrsLem · 02/11/2019 12:36

Can anyone recommend a stainless steel lunchbox? I'd rather get a good one than a cheap one but I'd be delighted if anyone knows of discounted good ones! Never shopped for one before so not sure about the brands

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 02/11/2019 12:37

Can someone explain the My Spike to me please? DH loves a kitchen gadget but I'm just not sure what it actually does - what's the benefit of it as opposed to just sticking the meat on an oven tray or skewer? Have looked at the website but can't work it out!

SilverLinings2014 · 02/11/2019 12:43

@IDontDrinkTea it's via Heasrt Magazine and the offer is still on.

I ordered last Sunday and cashback still not showing yet though. TopCashback ask that you wait 7 days to raise a query so will be doing that tomorrow.
