Thanks @VividImagination for title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

has anybody tried the knock off magformers sets from ebay? I'd like to try my DD with a set but the real stuff is quite expensive.

mammmamia · 01/11/2019 21:14

@Wiifitmama I’m glad! My DH uses it all the time! Very quick easy dinner.

Dreamingofwalden · 01/11/2019 21:21

I’m not sure who recommended the QVC Bare Minerals kit but thank you so much! My normal foundation has been discontinued and I was thinking of trying this brand. It’s an awesome kit! Smile

Also, had my Craft Gin delivery today. It’s so lovely! What great value!

Bought the Gravitrax starter set for DS and grandparents want to give him a couple of the extension sets- any recommendations?

livingthegoodlife · 01/11/2019 22:02

@guiltynetter try tkmaxx for cheaper magformers sets or they do good flash sales if you stalk them a bit.

UrbanMage · 01/11/2019 22:07

That's 2 "My Spikes" ordered. One for DH and one for my Dad and Step mum. Thanks.

Sizeofalentil · 01/11/2019 22:23

Sizeofalentil · 01/11/2019 22:27

noodledoodler · 01/11/2019 22:41

Someone was asking a little back on the thread about candles, I bought one today in Aldi, Jaffa cake, burning it now, its gorgeous, well worth the €3.99, seems to have ok burning life too. There were plenty of hot cloth cleanser kits in too. Loved the wooden and character tins toy selection 😀

starlingsintheslipstream · 01/11/2019 22:45

Sizeofalentil I’ve got one pinned to the fridge. Will PM you in a mo.

Hedgyhoggy · 01/11/2019 22:54

Laser x down to best price of £24.99 on amazon. Good reviews.

I called into B&Q earlier with ds and he loved the smart bulb that was on show. What should I be looking for and what would be a good price. I’d like dimmable, remote control, Alexa compatible and different colours.

in my quest for beeswax wraps I found this seller on ebay who has some christmas designs. Thought it might make a good secret santa or stocking present!

christmas wraps

bikinibottommuffintop · 01/11/2019 23:16

Gnaw chocolate (I have extensively tested for you Blush and can confirm it is delicious) have 20% off all gifts, including the big hampers and smaller bar bundles

CocoKoko123 · 01/11/2019 23:50

starling is it a single use code? The book you linked to on happy would be perfect for my neighbours but normally only spend £5-£10 on them!

1stMrsF · 01/11/2019 23:51

I have to say that I am enjoying my echo dot (offer coincided with a birthday voucher from my godmother, all thought of gifts was lost..) Alexa what's the weather like?

Was out in RL today and spotted these little maps Around and About which would make a lovely stocking filler. I have bought one of our local area for DH and BIL but would also be a good gift if bought for an area that someone is visiting on holiday for example.

Honey spoon stocking filler floor DTD1 arrived unnoticed during Halloween chaos yesterday and discovered open in the hallway under the letter box this morning. Had to present as non Christmas purchase as must have been seen by all 🙄

I need to get back on it. Got so many great bargains early on (thank you all) I've taken my foot off the gas and now drifting...

starlingsintheslipstream · 01/11/2019 23:57

CocoKoko123

Sorry, was a bit of a crossed post - the code I had was for Lakeland not for the books.

wibdib · 02/11/2019 00:05

I had my first Good Housekeeping today - for a change I ordered promptly on the bargainous offer with free Xmas recipe book and the offer got even better the next day.

There’s a Boden code in it for 20% off until 30/11/19 - T3T3. Guessing that it’s a generic one as it seems to short to be a mass mailed one.

Was disappointed to discover that it didn’t come with the leaflet of recipes which the shop versions of the magazine had - other magazines I’ve had that have subscriptions of often don’t send out the free gift if it’s something like coasters or a candle or a thing but they do usually send out the booklets they print!

Barbarara · 02/11/2019 00:06

@whatwillicallmyself how much postage did you pay to NI? Mine is coming up at €11.
And could you please tell me about dpd? Does it work like parcel motel? I couldn’t make head or tail of the website there may have been some wine consumed this evening
