Thanks @VividImagination for title.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Thanks @eastmidswarwicknightnanny I’ll take a look!
I might also venture to matalan soon @Oflawrence thank you!
I was hoping for some bargainous dresses with a matching shirt or babygro in a nice festive print but think I’ve probably got my hopes up too high!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 05/11/2019 21:50

@Ewock it looks like the rucksacks were a scam, myself and @moobar have emailed and asked for updates and heard nothing and moobar found loads of bad reviews on TrustPilot of people not receiving items

AstrosFan · 05/11/2019 21:50

@whatwillicallmyself I love a Kimberley or two (or whole packet) - they are one of the many all food related reasons that I am delighted to be back home. Not sure what I think about chocolate covered ones.

Bicnod · 05/11/2019 21:50

I ordered hampers too [santa]

Fingers crossed they come good...

torthecatlady · 05/11/2019 21:54

@stormsurfer silly question but did the mystery hamper actually come in the hamper?

torthecatlady · 05/11/2019 22:00

Sorry @stormsurfer have just seen they will be (hopefully) delivered in December!

Ewock · 05/11/2019 22:00

Thanks Paddington I'll contact my cc company tomorrow to sort a refund

moobar · 05/11/2019 22:02

Oh god. Been on these threads since the start, love them.

This year have 3 backpacks scam not delivered, paid via bank card and can't get back.

And now 3 hampers, which I'm not overly bothered about but really!!

I need to learn to pay more attention and think before I buy stuff.

I'm going to start Christmas shopping again tomorrow. Might as well open the chocolates just to make it a clean startGrin

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 05/11/2019 22:20

@moobar I thought you said you'd used PayPal, was that not the case? I need to ring my CC company but DS2 did not want me to today Halloween Hmm

dancemom · 05/11/2019 22:22

@SmallAndFarAway that link for the sheet masks doesn't work

QOD · 05/11/2019 22:24

What a twat 😂
I leapt straight in to order a hamper and then LITERALLY the next post ... ah well 🤞

Jedstre · 05/11/2019 22:27

£10 off a £40 spend at Lidl - voucher in free Metro paper on Friday (also in Daily Mail Sat or Sunday Mail)
I’ll easily spend £40 in Lidl. Their Christmas pud (luxury one) came out well in taste test, as did Iceland.

noodledoodler · 05/11/2019 22:35

I selected paypal for the hampers but when it came to further along the checkout process it didn't offer that option, only card payment

itwaseverthus · 05/11/2019 22:35

Oh shit, I feel awful for sounding the note of caution that may or may not be worth anything! I am so sorry if I have alarmed folk. I know nothing, was just saying be a bit careful as we all should be with most online deals I guess.

stormsurfer · 05/11/2019 22:37

I asked for the first hamper to be delivered on 20th December, so I won't know for a while... and I was not sure of the 40off would work if you hadn't already ordered one... again, I'm sorry if it doesn't work.. I did post in good faith.

Ewock · 05/11/2019 22:44

Please don't apologise we are all adults who make our own choices. You shared a bargain in good faith. So please know that nobody would blame you should it be a scam. Fingers crossed we are all inundated with shortbread and teas! Smile

Jessica78 · 05/11/2019 22:56

I'm sure the hampers are fine, but if they are inundated, they may well come back to those of us who are first time orderers and say no, it's just for a repeat order... We will see!

stormsurfer · 05/11/2019 22:57

Yes, here's hoping for a deluge of all things delicious and Scottish.

woodwaj · 05/11/2019 22:59

Thread 11 -the one where we all buy invisible hampers! Grin

I've ordered and I think they will arrive! I have faith! Thanks for the code @stormsurfer

GymSloth · 05/11/2019 23:00

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile

Thanks for the Hobbycraft code.

GHXMAS19 if anyone else wants it. It gives you 15% off, plus it stacks with the 3 for 2 offer on the kids gifts section!

whatwillicallmyself · 05/11/2019 23:17

ah @stormsurfer dont feel bad you posted hoping to help and in fairness we may all end up being delighted with our bargain, and as pp said we all make our own decisions whether to order things or not.

noodledoodler · 05/11/2019 23:23

I've saved an absolute fortune from being on this thread, waaaay more than the £12 I only might lose on a hamper, so on balance, still a winner due to everyone on this thread who has shared 😀

Leflic · 05/11/2019 23:25

stormsurfer it’s hampers for adults. Won’t be the end of the world if they don’t appear.Just be annoying trying to get £20 odd quid back but let’s face it...we are all taking a gamble on a “mystery” hamper being any good anyway.

buckeejit · 05/11/2019 23:51

No Malone grabber game thing is out. It's £100 spend this time but on first go I got a Vassos candle. Useful if you're buying anyway....

buckeejit · 06/11/2019 00:15

Jo Malone prices up again & ive placed another order - God help us all!
