I've just found these storage bixes in Home Bargains. There were four sizes and tgis is the largest. It was £2.49. I can't remember the price of the others.

I'm made up with it. Ive been looking for something for DS to display his mineral collection in for donkeys years but they're usually so expensive. I've bought him two and I'm so happy with them he might get them today!

I'm going to place a Boots order as it's 15% off when you spend over £100 plus lots of items also 25% off. I want to get Ds1 a shaver for Christmas. Any ideas on a good one? Is it more a beard and stubble trimmer I need as he only has hair in his chin and upper lip

@Changingagain re quilting gloves has your DM ever tried a Fons and Porter Klutz glove? (You can get them on Amazon). They have stainless steel fibres to protect against cutting your fingers and also have the rubber palms. Don't know if they would also protect against needles though. And don't have built in finger guards.

Just been to Aldi and bought dd a bath bomb making kit and lip balm making kit for £6.99, not sure if they are really a bargain but I’m sure she will like them. I’m also making her a baking hamper and Aldi had Betty Crocker cake mixes for £1.49 (carrot cake, lemon cake and one with sprinkles it it), I bought all 3, will get a mixing bowl and whisk to go with it.

So today was the day I started Christmas shopping, I now want to do more. If anyone knows where I can get a funky jumper for dd1 from? She’s a big fan of Noel from bake off, mainly because of his jumpers 🤣

Belola I use my contigo mug most days. I have one like this. It keeps tea hot for a few hours (not as long as some) but the main plus to me is you can lock the top and have it upside down in your bag and it won’t spill a drop. I’ve dropped mine on the floor before and it’s bounced and not a scratch on it or drop leaked. You can also drink one handed from it. Dh was so envious he got one for himself!

Boden and hotel chocolate codes here if they are of use to anyone. So my DD has decided she's going to ask Santa for Lego,specifically Disney Lego,more specifically Beauty and the Beast Lego. There only appears to be a Duplo set or the giant castle which is amazing but way out of budget. Has anyone seen anything else Belle related please? I was also looking at the Lego friends sets- any recommendations of the best ones? Many thanks.

moonbaby my dd’s favourite Lego friends set was the roller coaster/fair ride, can’t remember how much it cost though, often amazon keep dropping prices. Dd has asked for Lego technics this year which seems to cost £££.

@moonbabyandthebeast I bought dd Lego friends sets around the sea theme. They have four rescue mission sets if she is in anyway interested in sea or see animals. They have sea animal vet clinic light house and turtle and dolphin sets. Dd loves turtles so these sets fit her well and the sets have been reduced lately.

Tomorrow tarte.com are doing their mega bargainous deal of 7 full sized items for 70USD so that's about£56 for us. I usually get about £4 topcashback from the order too.
One item is a makeup bag but the other 6 are full sized products and you get to choose which you would like. Delivery is free and from the US takes around a week. I've never had customs charges before from them.
They only do this deal twice a year and you won't get the products cheaper so it's definitely worth a go if you have make up loving people to buy for.
