@Reastie first sponge wet with cleaner (sponge works better than the spray alone as it all gets wet). My kit came with the sponge wipe thingy. Then vacuum off. It it’s not wet enough (ie If it mostly dries before you vacuum it) it doesn’t work well and goes all streaky. Also, vacuum edge to edge else you get the break off line streaks

@BigmouseLittlehouse This is one of the ‘snuggle blankets’ I was talking about; this is the lion but there were other animals too and I’m sure they can’t be the only people to do this sort of thing - I’ve seen them in Costco in the past too.
Currently £12 but they often reduce prices or have 3 for 2 plus there’s the points double up toget the price down.

Just looked at the url and realised it is in the dog treat section - could explain why I couldn’t see it in the list of gifts with other stuff from the same range but they were in their main gift section in store!

@Reastie as @Dolphintrainer says I’d also recommend having a liberal spray and swish around of the cleaning product and do long edge to edge strokes where you can so you get a nice streak free finish. I’ve only used the sample that came with the karcher and have soft water so the cleaning product might have a big influence on the streaking but I don’t know yet. I did buff off any lines I didn’t see until the sun hit the windows with a microfibre cloth afterwards.

Who was it that was looking for something for a DC that was into magic tricks and card tricks? In Home Bargains today they had giant playing cards, both A5 and A4 size. the A4 for £2.99

GraceQuirrell Home Sense (so maybe TKMaxx might too) had some lovely boxed origami kits. No idea how much they were though I'm afraid but they were with the stationery, notebooks etc
