Evening. You've all inspired me so I'm watching Christmas food programmes and doing Christmas cross stitch.

Part of me is thinking 'bit early', the other part is thinking 'YEYY!! CHRISTMAS!!'

Lol Mrs - sorry I tend to use either "recipe" or "destructions" when it comes to craft projects. I'm a rubbish cook beyond Jam and flavoured Gin so don't really "do" cookery stuff!

I made it to the station in one piece. Oh my god! The weather is frightful and I'm very soggy indeed.

I did a tiny bit more cross stitch this morning and considered my plan of action for later on (grey first!).

And yes, flouncy, once you're past my birthday 50 it absolutely bloody rattled along!

I'm going Christmas shopping Friday. Hoping to get the stocking done. My mum has leant me some money until I get paid 🙄

My cross stitch is a little robin - just need to do the backstitch and he's done. He's very cute - reminds me of the one that sits on the allotment watching us

We have a pair of allotment robins. They hassle you for worms when you're digging!

Getting across the Albert Dock was challenging. I'm soaked through to my undies from the walk to the station at home. Grim.

Looking for reviews of the Garmin vivoactive 4 watch - does anybody have one and can comment please? I'm thinking about it for a combined birthday and xmas present for a sporty 16 year old.

Firefly you inspired me to record some festive food programmes so I think that what I'll watch while I drink my tea and crack on with the never ending baby blanket I'm crocheting.

Fanny I do stuff like that - wake up insanely early and then knit/crochet until I doze off. A couple of rows usually has me back in the land of nod - as long as I don't look at my phone. Once I've done that I'm wide awake.

Octopus my DDs have Fitbits and love them but I can't comment on the Garmin watch.

thanks..the garmin watch is now off the list as he wouldn't be allowed to wear it at school - I need to find a fitness tracker which can't receive text and phone call alerts.
