Thank you for the heads up on the short use by dates on the Beer52 cases, I didn't check mine when they arrived on Friday but just did so and 2 of mine are best before 10th Nov 2019 and 1 is 17th Dec 2019 and 1 can is very crushed so I have just given the box to hubby as a surprise pressie & he is delighted. In fairness all 8 beers are currently drinkable and given it was only a fiver for the box I'm not too bothered, but had I paid £24 as part of the monthly subscription I wouldn't have been best pleased.

doriana8 · 26/10/2019 22:23

Hi, i was trying to find a link for the debenhams beauty advent calendar mentioned on the last thread, but no luck. could someone help, please?

Thank you!

Dreamingofwalden · 26/10/2019 22:26

@Gustavo1they also have these. headphone

PaddingtonBearPumpkinstare · 26/10/2019 22:28

@doriana8 I think it must have sold out as I can't find it any more, I was waiting for payday before I ordered one Haloween Sad

HolyShmoly · 26/10/2019 22:31

Sorry if I missed it, but do we all know to go through kidstart for all amazon purchases? I think it's the only cashback site Amazon are on, although it's cash to your child's saving account rather than your pocket. (Just eat works too so I always justify takeaway as saving for dd)

mycatislickingherpaw · 26/10/2019 22:37

Actually about kidstart

1- you can link the savings to your bank account. That’s what I do, and they are transferred every so often by kidstart, so I don’t have to do anything, unlike Quidco.
2- Quidco also has plenty of amazon cash back deals, it depends on what is bought though (no toys and no books if I remember correctly...)

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 26/10/2019 22:40

Two people earlier in the thread were after pandora discount and cheaper Trunki. IWOOT sell trunkis at 29.99 which is a good price for new - they send out 15% vouchers if you sign up.
Pandora don’t do codes but you get 4% cash back though TopCashback.

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 26/10/2019 23:08

@Underthesleepingbaby Character.com mostly has nightwear for Power Rangers but they do have a backpack and swimwear as well.

WellSparkleMe · 26/10/2019 23:17

Thanks for all the bargains that have been posted already. Please can anyone let me know if you have seen any cheap Barcelona or Liverpool football kits? I need age 9-10 for the Barcelona kit and age 5-6 for the Liverpool kit. The price of the official boys Barcelona kit is making my eyes water Shock I'm happy to buy off eBay if anyone can recommend a good seller please?

Gatecrashingadulthood · 26/10/2019 23:32

Anyone have a Boden voucher they don't need? Pretty please x

binday · 26/10/2019 23:36

Gatecrashingadulthood I found this when I was tidying up today. No idea where it came from but it’s yours!

DianaPrinceRocks · 26/10/2019 23:51

@doriana8 and @PaddingtonBearPumpkinstare is this the Debenhams calendar you were asking about ?

https://www.debenhams.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod100522100011543309005999-1

This is the link on the Irish site and it's still available but hoping it might let you convert it back to the UK Thanks.

itwaseverthus · 26/10/2019 23:51

That's £10 off a £30 spend, can still use the 20% off and free delivery am sure

DianaPrinceRocks · 26/10/2019 23:52

Fek that link is buggered. Trying again

DianaPrinceRocks · 26/10/2019 23:57

FFS it's still not right. It's clickable before I post. Sorry I don't post very often (no surprise eh) but hope you can copy and paste it to work Confused.

Gatecrashingadulthood · 27/10/2019 00:01

@itwaseverthus thank you!!!!

itwaseverthus · 27/10/2019 00:05

Aw, glad it helped you out Grin

Purpleheadgirl · 27/10/2019 00:19

If anyone still wants a good housekeeping deal, this seems to have just worked for me. Log onto topcashback and search for hearst magazines, then good housekeeping magazine. One of the offers is for 6 magazines and free Christmas book for £9.99......but cashback offer is now for £10 on any level of subsciption! Can cancel direct debit/ subscription if wish so should end up being given the book, magazines and a penny :) Even better, do a friend referral as they are always advertising and both of you may end up with more money as a bonus later on

BeaLola · 27/10/2019 01:14

Re TVs - second LG recommendation - we bought LG 55 " with 4K and HDR etc from J Lewis last year - I think it was about £699 - love it - picture quality fab - and after we bought it price matched for £50 off

buckeejit · 27/10/2019 01:34

@Gardenworm oh no, you've had a bad time. I will be gutted if any of my kite stuff is cancelled. Did they email you to let you know?

Better than bloody Anthropologie, the feckers who won't even have the good grace to tell you they're cancelling your stuff. I wasn't reaching out to you, I was making a formal complaint about how shite you are! Angry

gaggiagirl · 27/10/2019 01:46

@Elpheba 3rd - ing the LG recommendations. Excellent smart TVs at a lower price point but great quality.

wibdib · 27/10/2019 02:50

We are planning getting an LG tv too as our old is beginning to stop working properly.

If you have a big Sainsbury’s near you, check it out as my local one has them reduced at the moment - some are 2018 models but doesn’t seem to be much difference in them to 2019 models and they had 49 inch ones reduced to £329. Can’t remember if they had bigger ones.

Also check Costco - I took pics of their big LG TVs a week or two ago - see the prices in the pics.

Also remember that curry’s price match too up to a month after purchase I think. They also had some on sale today in store and were offering a reduction on their fitting service should you want it mounting.

Only issue we have found is that none of the new TVs have bases that swivel. We have a socket that is behind where our TVs are that we use regularly and also the room is quite long and narrow so depending on who is watching, we like to angle the tv to be best for everyone, which is going to be a real pain without a swivelling base.

@DianaPrinceRocks your link did work thank you. However it then asked what country I was in and removed it from my basket when I selected UK Halloween Hmm
