Thanks @buckeejit for title.

My dot has arrived. How is that for speed. It’s for ds2 or Christmas so, the problem is that I now need one for ds1. I’m going to set up an account for dh and hope the offer comes back.

I have ordered a tesco grocery order for this am using code XXL4MP which gave me £10 off. It’s a generic code which suggests it’s for new customers only but I used it on my usual account. I’ve ordered 4 Green and blacks chocolate so remains to be seen if it comes.

I have almost finished my Christmas shopping and am under £20! Thanks to this thread. Just a Nintendo switch (for ds3 - which will cost more than everyone else put together) and dh’s dggs, who will be 1 at Christmas.

Thanks for the landsend code.... Didn't get slippers for sil but found a beautiful pair for DH. He best look after them there not for going fishing in

SpoopyStuff · 30/10/2019 09:50

Interesting books for those who are harder to buy for:

Much Ado About Stuffing - The Best of Crap Taxidermy (there's a twitter handle with this name and it's very funny)

Retronaut: The Photographic Time Machine - interesting pictures from the past

20% off everything at ASOS with code

GETWEIRD

Lots of clothes, gifts, beauty, trainers etc. Wasn’t someone looking for an ivy park hoody? They have them there too.

Reastie · 30/10/2019 09:59

We have two echo dots and use them a lot. We listen to the radio through them, use them to set cooking timers, ask the weather forecast, play music (we subscribe to amazon music) and dd asks it questions and plays games all day long. I can’t work out how to get one cheaply so will wait until Black Friday but would recommend. Also a brilliant gift for children. My 8 year old loves hers.

I think there are instax cameras on Asos too for the pp who was looking for a discount.

coffeetofunction · 30/10/2019 10:10

Can't remember how was looking but oral b toothbrushes are under £20 in superdrug this week if you have a points card (which are free to sign up for) that also offer NHS and student discount

ClaraLane · 30/10/2019 10:19

@AgnesNaismith Thanks for the White Company code - just ordered MIL some tea lights to finish off her present!

PinkDaydreams · 30/10/2019 10:21

@Jammiebammie thanks for the Asos code. Just bought Calvin Klein boxers and Hugo boss boxers I was wanting for DH. I hate paying full price for them!

Theimpossiblegirl · 30/10/2019 10:38

20% off joules with the code Gifting.

Has anyone got a white stuff code please?

Shitfuckoh · 30/10/2019 10:40

QVC sent me an email. They have a Yankee Candle bundle down to £41.96 on todays special offer. Choice of a few different scents. It's 2 large, 2 medium and 2 small jars. I've purchased the Glittering Star one but no idea who for, I'll keep a large one - my love of Yankees is costing me a fortune!

lotusbell · 30/10/2019 10:49

Thanks for the White Company code, oy giving me 15% off but with the free delivery too, I'll take what I can get!

CupCupGoose · 30/10/2019 10:50

Laredoute have some really good savings with code xmas. Starts at save £25 on a £75 spend right up to save £225 on a £500 spend. It's all on their homepage.

Grafittiqueen · 30/10/2019 10:51

Dammit! Missed the echo dot deal!

recklessgran · 30/10/2019 10:56

20% off everything at Getting Personal with code SPOOKY20

Barbarara · 30/10/2019 11:02

Another recommendation for oral b 2000. I switched the brush heads to kids ones which are a bit softer and they use the slower setting (click twice). The charge lasts about two weeks. We did get a dud brush that needed to be charged every three days but that was faulty.

In Ireland M&S have 20% off coats COATS20 and homeware, and up to 40% off furniture, offer ending tomorrow. I think the homeware/furniture discounts are just on the website, not a code as such.

Wiifitmama · 30/10/2019 11:02

Is it too late for the dot? I have scrolled back and can't see how to get it. I have Prime but not Amazon Music. When I look at the Dot it is full price.

Barbarara · 30/10/2019 11:13

@ Helssjbells I shouldn’t have looked 🙈
I cannot possibly or can I justify buying personalised penguin sacks but oh my goodness they are so beautiful.

Scoleah · 30/10/2019 11:19

Thank you @Shitfuckoh I've purchased the Black coconut. The plan is to give as gifts but will probably end up with my collection. Grin

recklessgran · 30/10/2019 11:29

10% off at Jasmine Silk with code AUTUMN10. There is free delivery on all orders. I have used them in the past for bamboo socks and pure silk eye masks which were great quality.

1stTimeMama · 30/10/2019 11:37

I have a Dot question! We have 2 already, and I have Prime. I bought a couple for gifts, but I'm unsure if the planned recipients have Prime. Will they be able to use them if not? Or can I register them on my account, but them still use them in their own homes?

Elphaba17 · 30/10/2019 11:38

Thank you all for the toothbrush help, esp Redtulip- it's good to hear the brand is recc by dentists. I'll have a look around for a deal on the 2000 range then.

Elphaba17 · 30/10/2019 11:51

1sttimemama, no they don't need to have prime to use it. I found this a useful link to read through:

Clevererthanyou · 30/10/2019 11:56
