ninjaturtlesmum · 12/10/2019 13:33

@Sunshine196, thanks for posting the offer, DS2 will be made up!

Whatsername7 · 12/10/2019 13:36

Thank you for the H&M tip - just got dd2 a 'Christmas Day' outfit and cardigan and boxing day tracksuit and dd1 a playsuit for £40.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 12/10/2019 13:37

The Die Hard Christmas gift set is selling for a fantastic £12.89 with free delivery on Hive right now. The set contains the genius illustrated Die Hard story (told Night Before Christmas style) and a John McClane toy with suction cups on his hose! It usually retails at £16.99.

And there's a pleasing 9.45% cashback on offer if you shop through TopCashback, making it extra good value!

Last Christmas every visitor we had was in stitches over this book so I'm getting it for a fair few of them. Aside from the bargainousness of this particular item, Hive is also a fantastic site to buy from because they donate a percentage of your spend to a local bookshop of your choice and you can nominate that shop as your collection point too.

Toomanytears · 12/10/2019 13:43

myname I have pm'd you a code Smile

Reluctantbettlynch · 12/10/2019 13:47

For those who are still buying from smafolk (or any other site that has home currency of euro) - if you have a revolut card you can choose to pay in euro even when going through paypal.
Paypal was offering an exchange rate of 1.08 and revolut 1.14 at the time I made my purchase so it does make a bit of a difference.

If you have a card with a good exchange rate like revolut / monzo and you make a purchase in another currency you will almost always get the best rate by selecting to pay in the correct currency and not GBP.

Kittywampus · 12/10/2019 13:55

Thanks @Carrie76. They don't have that offer at John Lewis now so I think I'll wait and see what happens on black Friday.

Mynameisnotthis · 12/10/2019 13:57

@Toomanytears thank you lots!

Jammiebammie · 12/10/2019 14:04
