I've eaten loads today! Work bought pizza for us so I had that, garlic bread and chicken dippers. Then I've had cheesecake after my curry. 🐷🐷🐷

We had an awful bedtime with DS tonight, Wreck. It's catching!

Morning all.

Have been asking since 6 where they are going today. I have no idea where to take them as the weather is so bad and I can't deal with soft play. I also just want to watch the rugby and drink tea this morning. It'll not happen.

How is everyone doing? The countdown is really on now.

I'm going to do some baking (low carb bagels for my lunches) plus I have a mountain of washing to fold. It's a nice day here though. I also want to pop into dunelm because their Christmas candles are usually £1.

It's sunny but chilly here.

We're having a proper lazy morning, and are all cuddled into our (super king) bed.

DS is playing a game on my tablet (it's an educational one teaching phonetics, and he's told me he won't be able to learn to read if he can't play it ) DH is reading the news and I'm MNing. It's quite cosy, actually. The last few weekends have been hectic, so it's nice to ease into the day.

Thank you MrsMad. My Nan was amazing but in a hardened, could handle anything kind of way. She wasn't cuddly or soft at all but she raised 10 children (8 of her own, 2 grandchildren) and would have given you her last pound.

Crazy my Nan was exactly the same , she was a great cook never owed anyone a penny and worked her whole life like a dog bless her but she was an amazing woman to survive the hardship with 5 Dc . She told me she used to sell the sweet ration/clothing coupons to richer ppl during the war because she couldn't afford to buy the kids sweets anyway 🤗. The Robin/nana looks great well done 😊

I tripped/smashed into one of DS's toys. It's my wee toe so nothing can be done for it even if it's broke. I'll just have to keep elevating it for the next few days.

Fluffy when is your birthday? I seem to remember it was near my dsis birthday in mid November.

I made bagels and chocolate orange millionaires shortbread. I also got a spiced mulled wine candle and lit it this afternoon

I changed the bed and put all the Christmas presents together in the loft ready for sorting another day. That's pretty much all I've managed today, and I'm exhausted!
