luna there's been Barbie bits on offer at Argos and asda? do you want a playset or just some dolls?
I've got my dd the Barbie chelsea house (£12.50 in Argos sale) and the Chelsea campervan for £26 from very. my dd mostly plays with lol dolls so didn't want to pay loads out on big Barbie things that she might not play with!

for those with LOL lovers, I found a bratz snow lodge playset on eBay for £10 that really snows and is nice and wintery. might be a cheaper/smaller alternative to the new lodge which is out for £250! they are made by the same company. there's quite a few more on there new and boxed. I can't add pictures but it's like this one from Amazon www.amazon.co.uk/Bratz-SnowKissed-Winter-Lodge-Playset/dp/B00ZI6LPV4

Someaddedsugar · 06/10/2019 15:53

@Courtney555 not so much of a bargain then! I hadn't anticipated them being that much - or the postage cost!!

riotlady · 06/10/2019 15:53

@PaddingtonBearHardStare those stockings look lovely, thanks!

@LunaLovesgood my Sainsbury’s has some Barbie stuff discounted, including some mermaid Barbies that looked quite nice?

I have also bought the little tree!

Someaddedsugar · 06/10/2019 15:54

Does anyone know if there's a discount code for the 5 minutes of fun shop? The number blocks toys are £9.99 but postage is £3.95 which seems quite steep! Still a bargain compared to the resale price on eBay but even so...

Isadora2007 · 06/10/2019 15:55

@handmademitlove thanks for that link. I managed to not only buy an easy- use archery thingy now but also a basketball stand and ball for DS who is having a multi-sport Christmas now! 😂😂

buckeejit · 06/10/2019 15:55

@Courtney555 cheaper ones on eBay

Sunshine196 · 06/10/2019 15:56

@LunaLovesgood I've recently seen some people finding cry babies for about £5 in Tesco. Might be worth a try.

Courtney555 · 06/10/2019 15:57

@buckeejit

Bit late now Blush

Sharonkh76 · 06/10/2019 16:14

We have the Aldi archery set. My 5.5 year old manages it fine. She is average height.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/10/2019 16:24

@WreckTangled, how about these on eBay? With the money you'd save you could get them professionally cleaned and I bet they'd come up nicely.

How long has she been a 3 for though? Is it worth buying bigger?

WreckTangled · 06/10/2019 16:27

She's a 2 at the moment I was sizing up Grin can't really have her in second hand shoes for mobility reasons, not Uggs anyway as what little support there is will have gone already 🤔 thanks though

Ftumch · 06/10/2019 16:38

@WreckTangled Costco Uggs are great and only about £25/30 I think.

MyIncapableOne · 06/10/2019 16:41

@WreckTangled I’m a size 2/3 and have managed to pick up kids Ugg size 3 before at reasonable prices (£50) on Schuh and MandMDirect, although January/February time is a bit better for bargains...when’s her birthdayGrin

WreckTangled · 06/10/2019 16:43

They look great! They don't only start in a 4 unfortunately will keep in mind for next time though! I might have to go out proper shopping and see what I can find. There's some nice ones in Zara but they never do discounts

Birthday isn't until summer unfortunately!

ritzbiscuits · 06/10/2019 16:51

@WreckTangled Have a look at the brands on TKMaxx, I've had a couple of ugg alternatives from there that have lasted well.

Look up the brand names, sometimes they are just alternative brands based in Australia with a good rep.

WreckTangled · 06/10/2019 16:54

Thanks all will keep searching Smile

NotPennysBoat · 06/10/2019 17:06

Does anyone know how to get a discount at Hotel Chocolat? They used to do their tasting box subscription on offer around Christmas (cancel after first cheap box!) but haven't seen anything similar this year...

Chocolateteabag · 06/10/2019 17:19

@NotPennysBoat have you got a loyalty card? If not, sign up with a early Nov birthday Wink
You'll get a 15% voucher at some point I think

QVCismyJam · 06/10/2019 17:22

@HideHide dont know whereabout you are based but in my local B & M in UK they had lots of Bakugan toys in the toy section (not the Xmas bit). Hope you have a store near you and it helps.

HideHide · 06/10/2019 17:34

Oh QV I totally didn’t even think of B&M! I’ll pop there this week for a look. Thanks!!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 06/10/2019 17:35

@recklessgran thanks for that coffee club link, I am going to do a subscription for coffee loving DH

RJnomore1 · 06/10/2019 17:36

If anyone is near a Molton brown outlet they’re selling last years advent calendar for £82.50. This years bersion is £175.

It’s got a Xmas special bauble (£12) 2x travel candles (£13 each) and two hand products (£11each) so £59 worth in those 5 days alone.

Bought oldest dd one she’s delighted.

SushiGo · 06/10/2019 17:43

luna tesco are doing their half price toy sale at the moment - I've just picked up barbie and her car for £15 which is a decent sized gift.

LikeSilver · 06/10/2019 17:43

Thanks @Someaddedsugar for the Prime voucher mention. I started my student prime trial and my £5 voucher was offered if I listened to one whole song on amazon music.

ritzbiscuits · 06/10/2019 17:47
