The only Mario advent calendar I can find is $50 on amazon.com - anyone know of any offers they might have?

SarBear1980 · 06/10/2019 11:28

@Sizeofalentil I have just used a code from the referrals thread and put mine on there for the craft gin club - looks good - if you are still looking. I’m also searching in store for the M&S snow globe gin!!

torthecatlady · 06/10/2019 11:42

@Duckyneedsaclean I bought one of those little trains last year. Some of the figures had come unglued so I complained. Then sent a new one and let me keep the other which I glued back together. They're very cute. We put them on our tv stand.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 06/10/2019 11:45

No7 Aqua Perfect Cushion Foundation is normally £17.50 but you can get 9 for £20

Explained here

bikinibottommuffintop · 06/10/2019 11:46

Superdrug have their buy one get one half price offer still running on perfume/fragrance- you have to me a card holder/member to join but it’s a quick process online. Bought Armani Diamonds he each for my 2 teen DSs for total £51, with 20% cash back via Quidco.

ReindeerPoop · 06/10/2019 11:56

I saw some nice initial baubles in M&S yesterday... I vaguely remember that they do a 342 offer on Christmas things. Can anyone tell me if that’s every year? If so when is it? Thanks [santa]

TellMeItsNotTrue · 06/10/2019 12:01

Amazon have the LOL surprise jewellery series for only £6 instead of £20

Looks fairly decent for a LOL product and the price

HideHide · 06/10/2019 12:19

Oh interesting about those torches - DH just took delivery of a box full of them to give away at an event he’s doing! Might have to swipe a couple first Grin

My request for help is for Bakugan battle brawlers - the latest ‘thing’ in my 5yr old’s world but I can’t bring myself to pay £7 each for them?!! Has anybody seen any cheaper or know of any good places to look?

Zillaindie · 06/10/2019 12:19

Just got another code from emails:

Photobox code
SAVE30 gives 30% off any spend
SAVE50 gives 50% off a £50 spend

Postage is a little steep at £4.99 however I have picked up a lovely personalised picture jigsaw for my gran
Ive used a collage app to create one big picture to use on the jigsaw so she has lots of little pics of the boys.

@IggyAce I got this for my dad and he really liked it www.amazon.co.uk/GCHQ-Puzzle-Book/dp/0718185544?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

The Works often have good puzzle books too.

Notlongnow1 · 06/10/2019 12:35

Iggyace what about a travel or even cruise (if they exist?!) journal

CupoTeap · 06/10/2019 12:40

Hawkins Bazzar have a scratchcard if you register your email address on their website and you can win up to £10 off. I got £2 off a )5 spend

beadyboo · 06/10/2019 12:58

DNiece has asked for the LOL bubbly for her impending 6th birthday. I thought she might want it and tried every Argos for miles when it was on offer to no avail. No luck! Now it’s back up to £30 it’s available everywhere. Can anyone find it cheaper? I’m so loathe to spend so much on such tat and have bought her a few other bits so I’ll be going well over budget if I pay full price.

Someaddedsugar · 06/10/2019 13:13

Not necessarily a bargain but the beautiful Polar Post has added a more purse friendly version of their Santa letter this year.

Newjobnewstart · 06/10/2019 13:33

Has anyone seen any deals on hydro flasks? Its my 9 year olds most wanted gift but im a bit 😱 at the £30 price.

Ratbagcatbag · 06/10/2019 13:33

For those wanting an unusual but personalised present. Check out the biscuit tin studio on Facebook.
She does amazing small watercolours of your houses or motorbikes/cars/classic cars. They're around £15 each plus postage which is awesome.
She did me a bike for a friend, another bike for a friend for this Christmas and also my ex his classic car that I gave him from my daughter.

Full disclosure is she is a mumsnetter and I "know" her through an antenatal thread we were on together over 6 years ago.
However her work is stunning and very very reasonably priced for a personalised picture.
Extra disclosure I don't get anything for recommending her. I'm just incredibly happy with the work she has done for me. :)

BrexitBirgit · 06/10/2019 13:38

I've just placed an order with typo.com, thank you for the recommendation further up. Great for teens (and me!) still into stationery but no longer interested in Smiggle.
They also give you a 20% off first order welcome code if you sign up with them, but only off full price items, fair enough I thought. However it then calculated my whole basket of sale and full price items at 20% (so half-price items actually went up), which turned out to be more than mixture of sale and full price items, so I took the code off again.

Abibranning · 06/10/2019 13:46

Fortnite annual in Poundland.

imsorryiasked · 06/10/2019 14:00

@Newjobnewstart does it have to be the large size? Amazon have some colours in the smaller sizes for £18-23.

imsorryiasked · 06/10/2019 14:07

@HideHide not sure how many you were planning to buy but there is a set of 9 plus case for £39.88?

Thread 6 - dd3 has a nostril called Steve
Newjobnewstart · 06/10/2019 14:07

@imsorryiasked no just the right shape i think. Thanks i will have a look x

Chocolateteabag · 06/10/2019 14:08

Can anyone recommend an Archery set suitable for a 5 year old?
ie one with suction cups and a target to use indoor/outdoor?

The one in Smyths looks too cheap, there is one in Decathalon but it's £34 and looks a bit too big?

@nomorewinedayfriday- thankyou for the Nike Sale code - DS1's feet have grown overnight again (its not even half term yet!)
