Thread 5 - The Mumsnet bargain thread - spreading the squeaky clean, ethical love!

So it’s not a thread all about ethical stuff (good grief there’s a lot of plastic tat that’s been purchased by me from these threads over the years) but with our current obsession with soap bars and shampoo bars and then I think it was fireflygirl who did the quote and it tickled me.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

I was just looking for Play Doh shape and learn letters, and found it cheapest on a website called Bargain Max. Not used it before but it was £8.99 considerably cheaper than anywhere else and free delivery if you spend £15. I added a couple of stocking fillers but looks like they have lots of good toy deals, worth a browse.

NoWordForFluffy · 29/09/2019 15:40

Bargain Max is great. I used it last year for Go Jetters stuff.

Rosie2000 · 29/09/2019 16:25

Thank you for the Revolution offer- just got my dd 13 some palettes to experiment with!

TripleTKA · 29/09/2019 17:04

Hi!
Just gearing up to start my shopping, not got a lot to buy this year but will add any deals I happen upon.

I’m after something that is currently £33.50 on Amazon, it was £29.99 in Argos a few weeks ago but then went back up to £50 and is now &33.50.
I’ve just checked camelcamel and it says the item was £26.99 on August 24th

SO do you think it is likely to drop again that low? Maybe on Black Friday?
(It’s the leapstart 3d)

TripleTKA · 29/09/2019 17:04

Sorry it was &26.99 on Amazon not in Argos,

pommymom · 29/09/2019 17:21

We bought Lego advent calendar via top cash back on Friday afternoon and still waiting for it to track (or otherwise). Fingers crossed.

WhereTheresAHill · 29/09/2019 18:12

Re Lego Advent via TCB - mine only tracked once it had despatched. I went for the Lego City one which was on Back order but has now been despatched and I ordered on thurs night
