I’m the other end of the country, but have checked their FAQs and they deliver down here too, so have asked to be added to their mailing list.

Booked my Christmas supermarket slot this morning and will start getting stuff together to make a Christmas lantern. No idea what I'm doing!

Christmas lantern sounds intriguing Queen. Have you got a picture of your inspiration?

A neighbour is a florist and offered to run a wreath making course if she got enough interest. There are 30 of us signed up Xmas Grin so I should have a lovely homemade wreath on my door this year. I'm hoping to be able to buy a bit of extra greenery to make a table centrepiece - I bought a little wooden crate for 75p in the Hobbycraft sale in January and I'm hoping I can turn it into some thing like this photo. It's only long enough for one candle but you get the idea.

I went out this morning and picked three pounds of Sloes. I ordered some quite poncey looking vintage bottles yesterday so that when the gin is brewed I can give it as presents (assuming it's not disgusting).
I've also ordered brown paper and Christmas stamp for wrapping paper making.
And I've been scouring the woods for a large tree branch I can bring back, spray frosty white, and trim up in my kitchen. My last years one got too dry and the little twigs needed to string things from snapped off when I was taking it down.
Love a bit of Christmas ponce.

I have found my people! Knitted wreaths a-plenty being made here. (Why do I do it?!)

doodle where did you get that pattern from? Think I might give it a go!

@doodlejump1980 are you the poster that designed that fantastic wreath? It's beautiful. I've made a couple of crochet ones as gifts but I suspect DH thinks we have reached peak ponce in the craft department. I now have to ponce in secret. Food is acceptable as is floristry but if I knit or crochet anything it tends to be given away.

Im a little behind due to illness but I have made a wonderful start on presents. Oh I did buy a hot glue gun yesterday to help with Christmas crafting, I hope it's better than my last one!

It's lovely doodle I wish I was better at knitting to make something like that. I do crochet blankets well though and have 2 to finish by Christmas which I'm starting to panic about!

Could you make one Queen? Use this box of 24 pieces from John Lewis for example and use something like this advent garland from Hobbycraft. Not cheap but reusable for years to come.

Thank you for posting that Queen! I have the trees but our kitten had taken a liking to them last year and I had to put them away before she chewed off the glitter. I can scale up a few paper tree houses and recycle some Halloween spider web and totally do that instead worrying about the cat!

@LazyDaisey what a good idea!! I had the same trouble last year with my devil kitten!!
