Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

More Spode!

Portmeirion website has 12 piece set of bowls, plates and side plates for £59.50. Special offer on code PAYDAY15

I don’t need them!! I don’t!!

PinkDaydreams · 27/09/2019 12:05

@noodledoodler thank you! Once I’ve applied discount it comes below the £25 which is why it’s showing shipping. I thought we were managing to get free shipping too, never mind!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 27/09/2019 12:08

I had never heard of CamelCamelCamel before this thread. Just got a watch alert the latest Zelda game for Switch has dropped from £50 to £42 so thanks everyone!

LayItOnFactor50 · 27/09/2019 12:13

Thank you to whoever posted the DrBotanicals code, just ordered 9 of the cleansing bars!

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but there was a link on the Moneysaving expert email this week for a Gruum shampoo bar £4 delivered for one or £10 delivered for three (selling them off as the printing on the packaging is a bit off centre) normally £12 each or three for £24. I’ve ordered the trio an am going to put them in with the cleansing bars (not sure if the trio is packed separately or not) as gifts for three family members who like vegan/ zero waste stuff. Deadline to order is midnight tonight and link is here: www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/gruum/?utm_source=MSE_Newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_term=24-Sep-19-50579606-6224&utm_campaign=nt-restaurantdeals&utm_content=2#51919

MulberryPeony · 27/09/2019 12:16

I have a kidstart account but never use it. Where abouts do I find the M&S code please?

Im pleased the dr botanicals code is getting plenty of use! We’ll all be squeaky clean for Christmas that’s for sure!

I’ve order the Lego city and mr frosty from up the thread so thanks for posting those.

FireflyGirl · 27/09/2019 12:39

Thanks Mulberry and LayItOn Grin

We're trying to use less plastic, so shampoo bars and cleansing bars ordered!

The Mumsnet bargain thread - spreading the squeaky clean, ethical love!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 27/09/2019 12:40

Never in my life have I given so much consideration to soap. I've had those cleansing bars in my basket, out my basket. I can't bring myself to pay for delivery so I'm obligated to spend £25. Do I need £25s worth of soap? I can think of 2 friends I could add a bar to their presents but I'm not still not sure this warrants bulk buying soap. Aaaarrrrggghhh

nomorewinedayfriday · 27/09/2019 12:47

Anyone got a matalan code? Think it was maybe in the previous thread!

leeloo1 · 27/09/2019 13:00

@40Fueledwithfairydustandgin I was the same about dithering about soaps, but like a previous poster, I ended up ordering some of the superfood gift sets. They work out at £7 with 50% off, but I'd liked the sound of the coffee exfoliator - which would be £4.50 by itself - and you get full sizes of that, a mask, a moisturiser and a champagne soap, so I think they will make good gifts.

I think adding that gave me the offer for the £2 /free soap too.

Fuckingfuckssake · 27/09/2019 13:08

I know it's not strictly Christmas related but does anyone have a referral code or know of any bargainous flowers by post? Bloom & Wild or similar, I'll keep an eye on the referral thread. Thank you.

MrsLeclerc · 27/09/2019 13:20

If anyone is after Google tech for teen or OH, they have a discount of 21% today only in the European online store.

It’s on the new 3a and 3a XL phones and the Nest home products.

Enter B-GOOGLE21 at the checkout.

xSharonNeedlesx · 27/09/2019 13:23

Oh god I’ve just had to go through the fraud questions with my bank as I’ve done too much spending on the credit card today!

Placed a shampoo bar order with Grüum (thanks for the poster who posted that) then I went back on to order the beard stuff for dh with the £5 off they sent and my bank blocked it.

Bluewavescrashing · 27/09/2019 13:31

At least if there's a post Brexit soap shortage we'll all be squeaky clean! 🤣

BeaLola · 27/09/2019 13:32

Apologies as I can't recall what they were called but I'm sure it was on this thread that people were waxing lyrical about some sort of thermos cup that was so good it was even worth buying (says quietly full price Shock) ? Sorry if I'm just dreaming this .... may need a lie down

nomorewinedayfriday · 27/09/2019 13:33

@Fuckingfuckssake - here's a referral for bloom& wild - £10 off

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 27/09/2019 13:36

layiton we would like to try shampoo bars but can't work out how to get 3 for £10 delivered...

Elpheba · 27/09/2019 13:40

Thanks for the shampoo bar tip- looks like it has been incredibly popular as they’re saying a few weeks until delivery but hopefully worth the wait!

I’m after some advice rather than sharing a bargain I’m afraid. My DS will be 18 months at Christmas and is really into boxes/opening and closing stuff/containers etc. Has anyone got any ideas of good toys or things that would tick that box?
Thanks!

NoSquirrels · 27/09/2019 13:41

BeaLola Contigo travel mugs, I think?

Bluewavescrashing · 27/09/2019 13:43

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts I think you can get a set of 3 for £10 plus postage from gruum but you need a link from moneysavingexpert.com 🙂 I just ordered one as I've got a few at home already.

NoSquirrels · 27/09/2019 13:44

Elpheba Melissa & Doug do a couple of 'latches' toys which have been popular with toddlers I know, like this barn:

Fuckingfuckssake · 27/09/2019 13:45

Flowers ordered, thanks!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 27/09/2019 13:47

@Fueledwithfairydustandgin I was the same over postage (and then ended up doing 3 orders so paying out £9 Hmm but just looked at it that I'd saved £40 on the full price stuff instead of £50. Still a good saving!
