Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

^^ rather than shower gel that should say

Notlongnow1 · 26/09/2019 12:06

@woodwaj that's annoying - I had it as a link from an email and it applied automatically. Happy to try forwarding you the email if you want to PM me an email address?

Chippytheelf29 · 26/09/2019 12:17

I would love a Boden code if anyone had one that they wouldn't use?

Sunshine196 · 26/09/2019 12:19

Ordered some of the cleansing bars. Not really sure why but I love a bargain! They look gorgeous & I'm sure my vegan friend will love one too. Thank you.

WhiteKnuckleRide · 26/09/2019 12:31

Hi all - just joining the thread as I really need to get my act together and get ahead of the game this year as I am also moving house in 6-8 weeks time. These threads were so helpful last year although I did not contribute - thanks everyone, there are some brilliant ideas.

I have just added my Cox and Cox referral code to the other thread and I'm off to order some wrapping paper now Grin

Elphaba17 · 26/09/2019 12:33

How much does the wrapping paper work out as on cox and cox? I see lots of posts about them, have people been happy with their orders?

mogtheexcellent · 26/09/2019 12:40

my Spode arrived today incl the bowls from ebay. Totally gorgeous!

@Wellhellothere101 the spode deal is here is 49.98 for a set of 12 Christmas tree and the code TREE20 should give you £20 off on top bringing it down to 29.98.

The set is for 4 plates, 4 side plates and 4 mugs. the mugs are on the small side. There is a small matching bowl which is cheap on ebay for £3.5 each.

SaveKevin · 26/09/2019 12:41

To the poster who recommended the perfume parlour

  • sorry I’m on my phone or I’d find your name.
Thank you so so so much. I haven’t been able to afford ‘my’ perfume in 10 years. So treated myself after your post. I’m so happy, it smells EXACTLY the same. I keep sniffing it, I smell like me! Thank you so so much.
mogtheexcellent · 26/09/2019 12:47

I have also received 2 plastic really useful bauble boxes currently 16.19 at staples. (currently £24 at argos and on amazon) Free delivery over £35 so I just added some post its to the order.

These are to store my naice baubles from cox and cox in. Cant recall whose referral link I used but enjoy your £20.

itwaseverthus · 26/09/2019 12:52

Can I ask, is the PerfumeParlour all oils? Even the spray bottles?

livingthegoodlife · 26/09/2019 12:55

19Sunshine196 I just bought the Sylvanian tram (for DD) and also the gelato store (for niece). Good prices I think!

Sunshine196 · 26/09/2019 13:06

@livingthegoodlife I got the nursery castle & bus 😀 yes a great price. I saw the nursery castle & tram in the entertainer and both look great especially for £15 each.

Barbarara · 26/09/2019 13:21

Everyday I am inspired by this thread to chant a new mantra
I do not need Spode tableware...I do not need Spode tableware... I do not need more wrapping paper...I do not need cleansing bars Smile

Spotted giant gummy sweets (cola bottles, jelly baby and orange bottles) in Dealz/Poundland which might make a nice stocking filler. Apologies for the photo quality. They also had their candy canes out which cheered me right up.

Jammie - did you get your Asos Advent calendar sorted out? How unbelievably annoying! That was a really nice offer you just made.

IHeartKingThistle · 26/09/2019 13:38

Dammit I had no intention of buying cleansing bars but now have several winging their way to me!

I can't find the post about the getting personal code, can anyone remember what it was?

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 26/09/2019 14:13

@Barbarara I have been good and not ordered Spode or wrapping paper so have rewarded myself with cleansing bars Grin

noodledoodler · 26/09/2019 14:13

I also think I got 2 dr botanicals cleansing bars free just now! Fab value with that discount on sale items

Willow4987 · 26/09/2019 14:17

Just had an email from Argos. They’ve got an up to 1/2 price on toys event happening now

noodledoodler · 26/09/2019 14:17

Btw the bars were only discounted once you checkout

margaritasbythesea · 26/09/2019 14:18

14:13PaddingtonBearHardStare I have resisted them all! So far. Because I don't have any money until October. But still I feel I have an iron will!

yumyumpoppycat · 26/09/2019 14:21

I have just ordered loads of dr botanical items eek - code is autumn50 and takes 50 % off sale items. The coconut bars offer seems to pop up if you add anything with rose in (like rose oil) I may be wrong on that.

itwaseverthus · 26/09/2019 14:45

I've ordered ten a few cleansing bars from DrB because we've moved to soaps over shower gels this past year and are loving it. Much less plastic and I think I stay fresher longer with soaps than gels.

SaveKevin · 26/09/2019 14:49

itwaseverthus I am not sure, it reads as if they are. Ive got a spray, and I'm not sure how i would know either way. Looking at the ingredients water is the last ingredient... if that helps?!

I was toying with ordering lots of little ones as stocking fillers

WellTidy · 26/09/2019 14:52

Wilko has tubs of celebrations for £3 and chocolate oranges for 75p.

itwaseverthus · 26/09/2019 14:52

Thanks SaveKevin. Have ordered a couple of 50ml sprays as my favourite Diptyque and Hermes are finished and I can't justify spending £200 right now on scent. Worth a punt for sure.
