Argos site is horribly glitchy this morning! It has taken me hours to check out

Just a tip with John Lewis price match - it can totally depend on who answers the e-mail. When TRU was going out of business they had a massive reduction on a certain Lego set which had been cleared out in all stores near us. I asked JL if I could price match and they said no as it was out of stock online (although still showed the reduction). So I e-mailed back saying how I could trail out in the snow to get it from a store but I would much prefer my custom to go to John Lewis and didn't fancy taking my little kids out in such poor weather so was there any way they could help. Got a reply from someone totally different who said of course and hope my kids liked the set. So if at first they say no it's always worth a cheeky (but very polite) follow up.

The new Lego Hidden Side seems to be at its lowest ever price on Amazon. School is down to £88 and bus to about £41.

@CupoTeap another vote for contigo. They don’t leak or drip, keep drinks warm for hours and you can easily wash all the parts. You’d think those would be standard features for a hot drinks cup. I’ve been watching out for a bargain ready to pounce but I have to admit they are worth every penny full price too.

Finally!!!! Checked out with Argos after trying on and off for nearly 3 hours!!!!! Managed to get tiny treasures outfits half price and a couple of design a friend dolls for youngest dad that I actually had reserved last week and didn’t have time to collect (so glad now!!!)
