Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Can you please tell me which one is the 20/40 m wrapping paper? I can only see 10 m ones. Thank you

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 25/09/2019 07:16

@Sunshine196 Have you managed to buy it? Seems to be lots of problems with the website

HoneyDragon · 25/09/2019 07:24

@IBelieveInPink

There has been the last few years and it was rubbish value. I sneaked a look at the content and then between various 3-2 offers and promotions managed to get her 24 hatchimal blind bags, and a cardboard advent and ended up spending £3 more than I would have on the original one that only gave her 5 mini hatchimals and no eggs to break.

NoWordForFluffy · 25/09/2019 07:27

Oh, I got the price wrong for Smyths on what I wanted. The Argos price is 20% lower than there and I don't have to spend £50 to get the 20% off, so it's ordered from Argos. Much more convenient for me as I can go at lunch time. Smyths is just ridiculously out of the way for me. I hate how you have to go to the store; shit for equality purposes if you think about it.

Sunshine196 · 25/09/2019 07:34

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin I reserved it yesterday hoping it would go down in price. I'm mainly pleased because smyths is about 40 mins drive for me but Argos is 5 mins from hubbys work. I just went on to try to order the 3 in 1 lego set & it took a while but it finally went through. Good luck.

Sunshine196 · 25/09/2019 07:37

For anyone wanting an lol house could see if John Lewis will price match Argos? They wouldn't do smyths as instore only but they might do Argos for delivery?

NeverSurrender · 25/09/2019 07:44

Lego city police station is £2 off its best ever price on Amazon. It's a few pounds cheaper than that at Argos! That's DS sorted - that's all he's asked for so pleased I could get it for a good price.

Tooner · 25/09/2019 07:59

@CupoTeap m&s had some pretty ones for £4 and if you wait for a home event you'll get 20% off. Or perhaps klean kanteen?

Tooner · 25/09/2019 08:02

Amazon fire kids tablet £30 off but poster said it actually took £45 off.

Chocolateteabag · 25/09/2019 08:09

@CupoTeap - have a look at Contigo travel mugs - Tesco and Asda have them in store
They are a bit more £ than usual but they don't leak and keep hot drinks really hot (ie actually do the job) I have had too many cheaper ones to mention then friend showed me hers 2-3 years ago and mine has been in constant use since then
Could be a Tesco voucher purchase?

@Courtney555 - Thankyou for using my referral for cox and cox - I got decorations with my intro but now going to look at the wrapping paper with the £20off £25 you've enabled me to have

Thegirlhasnoname · 25/09/2019 08:13

GAP have 70% off of everything on their site. Probably still a bit on the pricey side but I’m sure there are bargains to be found

Courtney555 · 25/09/2019 08:15

Waitrose Christmas Delivery slots now open!

Go Go Go!

Reastie · 25/09/2019 08:16

Where is the referral thread for Cox and Cox please

NoWordForFluffy · 25/09/2019 08:43

Just booked a Christmas Eve delivery slot with Waitrose. It's only a 'just in case' and I'll probably cancel it later, but thank you for the heads up!

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 25/09/2019 08:44

got a CCC alert for Playmobil Mars Space station lowest ever price ( currently £42.99 , £52.99 at Smyths)

www.amazon.co.uk/Playmobil-9487-Station-Functioning-Shooter/dp/B079MLP1S3?linkCode=xm2&SubscriptionId=AKIAI2TWEDSMJWGPXOQQ&creativeASIN=B079MLP1S3&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&creative=165953&camp=2025

MyIncapableOne · 25/09/2019 08:46

IBelieveInPink Argos have the newest ones reduced. Could you make your own calendar, bulking out the extra days with chocolate coins or something else? I’m thinking of doing this this year as I don’t think the Hatchimal calendars actually had many hatchimals in.

ClaraLane I just used your cox and cox code...many thanks! I'm hoping someone now might want to use mine. I've copied the link into the Christmas referrals thread

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 25/09/2019 09:23

Got sorted on Argos for one lol present but not the other. So not too bad and I can go to smyths for the other. The site is really glitchy though.

Sweetpea84 · 25/09/2019 09:47

Got all my boys Xmas and birthday presents via Argos being delivered later and I’ve just picked up the lol bubbly surprise for £15 as reserved it last night so super happy!

NoWordForFluffy · 25/09/2019 10:06

Does anyone have that Japanese sweet hamper link from Amazon again please? It was about £7.
