laury it seems that this thread is full of unexpected pregnancies today. I read of another upthread, plus me and you. There must be something in the airGrin

Mrsmadevans · 07/09/2019 23:00

Firefly girl!!!
🤪😂 Naughty !
Totally agree re the soaps , can't be doing with the multiple murders and affairs and robbers 🙄🤔🤪🤪

BearRabbitPants · 07/09/2019 23:15

Stan if there's something in the air then keep farrrr away from me Grin! Haha

Soaps are bloody rubbish- more of an American box set series kinda gal- tonight we watched the most recent episode of The Black List that we recorded this week- please tell me someone else is watching this amazing series?!

TheWoollybacksWife · 07/09/2019 23:23

Love The Blacklist Bear - I have a soft spot for Aram and last week's episode was heart rending.

NoWordForFluffy · 07/09/2019 23:30

Wow. Lots of pregnancies. How bizarre. You couldn't make it up, could you?

I stopped watching soaps when now-DH moved in with me almost a decade ago as he moaned so much I couldn't be arsed. I don't miss them!

I've been busy this weekend. I'm onto the cross stitch which Emrys found and I've cleared to the back of the new allotment too. I'm going more slowly on this one that the first one. I don't have time to rush it, and I want to get it right first time!

There was so much junk behind the shed. Good job we've massive council skips at the moment!

Woolly l used to watch the Blacklist , must catch up it was excellent 😊
Fluffy excellent work well done m'dear!!
Lovely cross stitch too. You clever girl 🤗
Best get to bed .l am going to count phantom pregnancies instead of sheep tonight 😄

Mrsmadevans · 07/09/2019 23:40

I don't know where phantom came from. Damn auto correct l meant surprise 🤪😂😂😂😂😂

StanAndMe · 07/09/2019 23:52

I agree too with how crap soaps have gone. I vaguely keep up with them if they pop up on my Facebook feed or if maybe SIL talks about them. But they’re just too outrageous, like this quadruplet storyline on Corrie and the whole Phil/Keanu/Sharon and Phil’s daughter storyline. If I lived on that estate I’d be moving!.

Bear I’ll try😂 but it seems to be spreading through this thread. 3 in one day!

Fluffy loving the allotment. DH loves gardening, he’s actually been doing our garden and there’s allotments near us which he’s always wanted to put his name down on. I like the cross stitch, what will it look like when it’s done?. I love cross stitching but I haven’t done it in years.

Mrs goodnight! Have fun counting surprise pregnancies, you never know, they might send you to sleep faster!. Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 07/09/2019 23:56

It'll look like this. I've only done 2 nights on it!

I'm not letting DH anywhere near me if this thread is anything to go by!

Morning!

It looks like it's going to be a bright day today. It's got that autumnal crisp feeling this morning! Love it! ❤️🍁🍂🍁🍂❤️

I'm having to fix DD's cuddly mouse's eat today. She's had him since birth and I keep having to fix his nose and ears! I kept a pink pyjama top and use the material from that!

I'm also doing my little Christmas puddings I think. They now don't want Christmas dinner on the day, they want our usual buffet. I'm happy with that. We will have our roast on Boxing Day as usual.

its a lovely day here too - both my kids are outside in the garden playing already

ikea trip on the cards here today - need to sort out toy storage as the place is over run with wooden train track atm

WreckTangled · 08/09/2019 08:39

It's chilly here too with sunshine. I want to go shopping but have no money BlushGrin I haven't got any nice winter clothes as didn't buy any last year. Annoyingly though we have one town an hour away in one direction that has an H&M and then another town an hour away in the opposite direction that has a primark so I can't get both cheap shops at once.

Today will be mainly homework and washing I think.

BearRabbitPants · 08/09/2019 08:54

Woolly thank god- I thought I'd be the only sad person shedding a little tear for Aram Grin!
Another good watch is 'Blindspot' with Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton, we've just finished watching the latest season.

We purchased the kids autumn and winter clothes yesterday got DD some really sweet dresses and woolly legging & booties and some lovely warm wool hats 🍂! I need to get some bits for myself I went online last night and bagged a pretty embellished sweatshirt from Topshop reduced £42 to £15! I love a bargain!

BearRabbitPants · 08/09/2019 08:56

Fluffy my husband is the opposite he LOVES the soaps. I moaned enough that he ditched EE but Emmerdale and Corrie are still staying put 😐

TheWoollybacksWife · 08/09/2019 09:19

I haven't come across Blindspot Bear. I'll have a look for it, though. DH and I don't have much of a crossover in TV tastes. I'll watch sport with him as I'm usually knitting and it doesn't matter too much if I don't give it my full attention. He likes documentaries and gritty stuff while I like detective shows. Things we have watched together include Call of Duty, Killing Eve, The Americans and Keeping Faith.

I'm going to chance putting a load of laundry out. It's a lovely sunny morning but from the load I did yesterday in similar conditions there were a couple of pieces that were still a bit damp. It was 6 degrees this morning when we woke up - I keep teasing DH that I'm going to start cooking casseroles and roasts (he calls it the autumn menu) I can't wait!

Mrsmadevans · 08/09/2019 09:21

Fluffy that is so sweet you keep mending the mouse 😍🤗. That sampler whoo it looks fantastic 💐
Wreck, can you go to a boot or a jumble m'dear? My sister buys lovely things from them. Honest to God you wouldn't believe it. I am no good for finding things cos l am too damn fat but you are gorgeous and slim. l bet you would find loads 🤗. She won't even buy in charity shops she is so mean discerning 😂 , l don't mean to patronise you m'dear just trying to help . Do you know most of the stuff still has labels in and has never been worn 😬
It's a beautiful day here just off to Mum's, have a lovely day everyone 😀

ChristmasInJuly · 08/09/2019 09:25

Morning! Lovely sunny Autumn morning here.
Not caught up for a few days, so don’t know if anyone has already mentioned this, but The Crown is back on Netflix on Nov 17th. I love it!

I’ve booked another Christmas outing - Breakfast with Santa at a nearby farm. We did it last year with family and it was good - DD will be just turned 2 so hopefully she’ll get a bit more out of it than last year. DS will be almost 4 and is already talking about it. No idea who he gets that from! Grin
Loads of places have sold out already - including the activity we usually do with friends. We dithered too long and missed out. So I’m on the hunt for something similar locally that we can do.

WreckTangled · 08/09/2019 09:26

Mrs honestly a boot sale is my worst nightmare Grin I'm going to clear out my cupboards in the hope of finding things I had forgotten about!

NoWordForFluffy · 08/09/2019 09:30

July, my two LOVE Christmas and talk about it all year! I hope that means we are making it magical for them, hence them loving it! Xmas Grin

I'm just waiting for my dried fruit to finish marinating and then my puddings can be finished. 3 hours to steam little ones!

I don't have the patience to rummage for stuff at car boots / charity shops / TK Maxx. Being a bloody giant isn't helpful either as finding stuff that fits me is a challenge.

We love LoD and Killing Eve here too. We don't watch much really. The TV is on, but we're both doing other stuff mostly!

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 08/09/2019 09:40

Ickle puddings!

DH is going to fetch his parents' big steamer as ours is too small for two! 😂

Fluffy ❤️ you are amazing! That is such great prep!!
Cij have just gotten Mum hooked on the Crown 😆
She has this strange disapproval of Phillip , you have to be there 😅😅😅
Wreck l know what you mean. My sister stakes the jumbles out in advance. She plans it like a millitary op 🤪🤣🤣🤣

BearRabbitPants · 08/09/2019 10:10

Woolly yes do try Blindspot it is similar to Blacklist in a lot of ways, but still totally different if that makes sense 🤪! I'm totally excited for the autumn menu in this house! Gimme a cottage pie or roast dinner over a bbq any day Smile

NoWordForFluffy · 08/09/2019 10:35

We BBQ on Christmas Day as we do a side of salmon and pigs in blankets on there for the buffet! 😁

i have spent the morning looking up thomas land for just before christmas. It looks really good. My youngest is obsessed with thomas and has been for months. She is currently watching videos of it on youtube.

would be a lovely thing for us to as a family of 4 before a sibling arrives and things get a bit more complicated!
