We had thunder and lightening along with torrential rain last night and some of this morning but the sun has come out now.

I'm not in the office today. I still feel ropey and lightheaded, as much to do with the medications I took as the migraine.
My lovely boss suggested using a half day flexi and working from home to do some prep for an upcoming presentation. He knows I like to print everything off and hand write notes before making the actual presentation so it'll be a computer free day. He is ace.

I'm so glad you liked the bunting. The idea is to have it hanging over dm's fireplace. It'll have a Santa sack behind the sleigh (as if it's fallen off), presents hanging from it, the sleigh and 4 reindeer, all joined with gold reigns.

Our washing is just going out! Forecast dry until Thursday. It rained a fair bit earlier.

I'm sitting with a hot compress on my eye. And my legs are swollen due to nasty bites. I look like I should paint a black cross on my door!

My DD1 had terrible midge bites too, she came in a few mins ago and had toothpaste all over her , that reminds me she passed her driving test this afternoon yay!

I've bought some presents for DS this morning. I've not managed for DD yet, but her list is a bit more, how do I say it, full of crap!

I'll look at it again later (and decipher the bloody handwriting!) and see what to do about it!

I've nearly finished for my 3 I'm having to pace myself now so I can do some actual Christmas shopping at Christmas

Thanks to the sales and the bargain thread I've got loads. DD1 wants a book that's only published in late November and I've been waiting for M&S to up their nightwear game to get a couple of dressing gowns. There's a couple of things that DD2 would like that may drop in price with Black Friday so I'm holding off buying them now. Then I just need chocolates and magazines in the week before Christmas.

Unfortunately I've not got a clue for DH. He's usually pretty good about finding something he'd like but this year (so far) nothing. I bought him slippers in the Landsend sale but ended up giving him them as his old ones were falling apart and I didn't want him to come a cropper on the stairs. I think he'd like the Led by Donkeys book and I'll probably have a look at the local theatres to see if there is a comedy gig that he'd like to see unless he comes up with something soon.

There were some lovely new dressing gowns in the kids' M&S section yesterday, so my guess is that they're coming.

I'm done once I get some dairy free coins and DD's last Santa presents.

Then it's just The Twitch to contend with! 😂

Woolly and fluffy you are so lucky to be nearly done. I'm going to Smyths tonight to hopefully get dc finished. I'm lucky that they are young enough that I can convince them what they think they want.

Oh wow on the nearly finished people!! The only thing i’ve finished is DS2’s Christmas list! Took a lot of thinking about because stuff he likes (hey duggee, Peppa, Paw Patrol and Gruffalo) is already stuff we have.
I did buy him two of the Velcro blocks things though. The ad popped up on my insta and looked lovely, 2 for £20. It’s literally all i’ve bought so far! I have a few things earmarked to buy after next payday though.

Me and DH have decided to buy the Merlin passes instead of Christmas presents for each other on Black Friday. Apparently the deals are really good.

I’m so tired today. Up all night with DS2 who was throwing up. So unusual for us- we’re a family of cast iron stomachs. He’s better today but still off food.

Tickets for breakfast with Santa booked for the 14th Dec. Can't wait
