I froze on the way to work but will boil on the way home.

I think 20 degrees when you've had to wear your coat in the morning is a bit silly. 15-18 would be more appropriate autumnal weather strikes gavel

Here would be Calpol and school as well, Wreck. I'd pre-warn the teachers to keep an eye, but if they're feeling fine in themselves then off they go. Probably a throwback to my own childhood where we had to go to school as my parents couldn't afford the day off to look after us unless it was serious...

Same here. Except she's not getting calpol as no temp and I won't see the teachers as they get a bus to school. My parents were the same and I'm now the same with my approach to work I haven't had a single sick day in my current job (also part of that is because I'm luckily never ill! Could very easily milk the diabetes and take time off for having a high or low but I just get on with it).

Think I'll need a coat for the walk to the bus stop

Emrys thank you, it’s awful the weather now isn’t it. You leave in the morning froze and by lunchtime it’s shorts and T-shirt weather. I wish it’d just make up it’s mind.

I'd still give Calpol as it's for pain and general symptom relief, not just temperatures.

I don't have much time off sick, but I've rarely worked anywhere that pays sick! I only stayed in my last job to get the 4 weeks' pay for my shoulder op. 😀

Took me ages to find l was on the best one already 😁
Then did house / contents ins . Changed DH mobile phone contract 😁
Sorted Amazon Prime out 😆

Anyway it's beautiful here again today just lovely 😍
My back / leg played up yest so took 1 Gabapentin . They are really good and sorted it out thankfully 😊👍
Best shift and get the car to a garage for a service it's all happening 😂 such an exciting life l lead .

We're getting our stuff from Booths this year. For cheese etc they're loads better than M&S. And as my in-laws are collecting for us, they can't be asked to go to 2 places!

I’m from near Birmingham Fluffy, and I’m vegetarian, but I don’t have much dairy, so almost vegan. Though I must say, since being pregnant all I want is a maccies cheeseburger😂

I'm northern, but wrong side of the country. Shame, as it looks lovely. I'll have to stick to salivating over the M&S and Aldi ones.

I'll probably be buying from Aldi, though. The M&S in our city centre closed . There's one near DMIL, but I like to go and browse!

I think Cheshire is the furthest south they have branches. We have two branches near to us. Not in our town, sadly, but close enough.

They do deliver at Christmas though. Just sayin'!
