Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

pilotsprincess · 02/09/2019 10:37

Tesco have some brilliant toys half price, I picked up some little tikes racers and some crayola sets yesterday 😁

Marypoppinsisnosaint · 02/09/2019 10:40

@sux2butgen aww no!! The only advantage I find to having 2 5am risers.

PinkDaydreams · 02/09/2019 10:48

@Marypoppinsisnosaint @Sux2buthen I had the children’s bench in my basket and started typing in payment details but then answered my phone, went back to finish the process shortly after 8am and they’d sold out!

40% off photo books at PhotoBox using code SAVE40. Ends midnight tonight. They do the lovely personal board book style photo books suitable for toddlers, so I've just ordered a book full of pictures of the family and some of DS's favourite things for his 2nd birthday this month. £12.98 including postage after the discount, which I know isn't exactly a bargain, but it would normally be £19!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 02/09/2019 11:02

Has anyone seen any bargainous boys pyjamas (age 14/15) with no logo on please

The only ones I find seem to have endless variations of "cool dude"/ "eat, sleep, game, repeat" text which DS would refuse to wear

totallyLosingIt · 02/09/2019 11:05

Just to say following my PhotoBox post above - I have a referral code for some money off too. I am not sure if there is a minimum spend or whatever, but anyway, I'll add it to the referral thread if anyone does decide to use them.

MrsCrimbo74 · 02/09/2019 11:19

ohmygodtheykilledkenny these pyjamas are only £3.50 from Asda x

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 02/09/2019 11:24

Thank you MrsChrimbo - those only go up to a 13-14 which might be pushing it size-wise but I've just seen that they do others in larger sizes (which I hadn't seen in our local, small branch)

SquintEastwood · 02/09/2019 11:59

Kenny have you tried looking in the men's section? My DS is a tall skinny 13yo and he will only wear plain - single colour stuff (he has ASD.

We've started buying him men's XS as there is more variety. Think our last set were Asda.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 02/09/2019 12:07

SquintEastwood he's at that awkward in between size where he's not quite into small/XS mens as he's not particularly tall and very skinny!

DD was the same but at least with girls/ladies clothes they go down to tiny sizes like UK 4 or 6

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/09/2019 12:08

@OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny if you can't find anything suitable I have previously bought plain tshirts and combined them with checked lounge pants.

Youvegotafriendinme · 02/09/2019 12:22

Thank you @Rainboe1 I’ve just got one for my DNs! Very happy with that Grin

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 02/09/2019 12:25

Thanks for the entertainer heads up CupoTeap, a few more little presents for friends kids knocked off the list!

bumblebe · 02/09/2019 12:39

My landsend slippers have just arrived, they're lovely!!!!! X

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 02/09/2019 13:39

amazon has between 25% and 40% off Marvel figures as part of its daily deals - just in case that helps anyone

ArthurChristmas2 · 02/09/2019 13:42

@OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny Try Marks and Spencer. I’ve just bought my size 4-6 skinny daughter ladies size xxs and age 14-15 children’s PJ!

woodwaj · 02/09/2019 13:48

Annoyingly the chocolate bombs are back in stock on menkind now the free delivery has ended. If anyone ordered would you mind updating with the expiry dates on them?

My order arrived from the transport museum the hat looks really nice but might not fit my 4 year old for very long!

There was a code in the parcel for 15% off code welcomeback15

Barbarara · 02/09/2019 13:49

If anyone spots invizimal toys or atomicron toys anywhere please shout! They’re ds’ latest obsession and so far I’ve only found a few bits on amazon with eye watering postage.

MulticolourTriangles · 02/09/2019 14:26

Does anyone know if Thorntons ever have offers on their chocolate models closer to Xmas?

QVCismyJam · 02/09/2019 14:42

@OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny Have you looked at H & M for plain pjs. I solved that prob their and their older boys range 14+ was brilliant for plain pjs - they do hv logos on some of them but can well recommend the plain cotton ones. Washed and worn well on a teen that is quite tall but not yet into mens sizes.

Gustavo1 · 02/09/2019 15:29

@MulticolourTriangles I’m not certain that the figures are on offers but tndptons normally do great multibuy offers and decent free gifts as it gets nearer to the big day. I always do a really big Christmas chocolate order and save lots!

MulticolourTriangles · 02/09/2019 15:43

Ooh thanks @Gustavo1 I will keep an eye for that!
