Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Pickerings Gin have released their Festive Flavour Gin Baubles - not a bargain at £25 for 5 but they have included Brussel Sprout gin Gin Envy

Grambler · 02/09/2019 16:19

nooooo no do not buy that Knex rollercoaster. Hmm That was another "bargain" from these threads that cost me 4 hours of my life I'll never get back to make because the instructions were so useless, and then as soon as my idiot child attempted to actually play with it, it fell into pieces and never worked again.

Amazon seems to have good prices on some (but not all) Kidkraft wooden kitchens / houses / road & rail tracks etc.
Worth checking if they're on your list.

Do any of you very helpful people know anything about the Argos 3 for 2 or the Smyths £10 off of £50 spend? I am sure I read somewhere that Argos wouldn't be doing the 3 for 2 anymore but not sure if that's true or not? I have my eye on the Pinky Ponk which is down to £24 on Argos but not sure if I should hold off for the offer or just get it at that price as seems like a good one! Thank you :)

imsorryiasked · 02/09/2019 17:40

@Barbarara a couple of Invizimals here

Lc2006 · 02/09/2019 17:49

@allatonce99 I've not heard anything about them not doing it I hope not! I get most things on 3 for 2 for Christmas. They usually have one back end of September then one mid November (I think).

Ratbagcatbag · 02/09/2019 17:50

Claire's ordered just placed. Sass & Belle order turned up today and now just ordering those chocolate bombs for my daughter. :)

You guys are awesome and I'm well ahead.

Has anyone seen the FB adverts for the ladies razors that aren't disposable? I'm curious about them and they don't seem that expensive. (For me!!).

Wolfcub · 02/09/2019 17:53

Ohmygodtgeykilledkenny I got three packs of pjs - one short, one long from m and s recently. Same size you are looking for. Mix and match sets, Plain and stripes, no logos

yellowsun · 02/09/2019 18:17

We had the knex roller coaster a few years back and thought it was a good deal and built it fine. I’ve obviously blocked out the memory of any horrendous instructions!

NoWordForFluffy · 02/09/2019 18:31

Aldi has tubs of Quality Street for £3.99.

Newjobnewstart · 02/09/2019 18:45

gaggiagirl · 02/09/2019 19:07

My lands end order arrived and everything is absolutely lovely and great quality. The popular red xmas tree sequin top is so lovely.

IggyAce · 02/09/2019 19:14

@lancslass17 for my nieces 2nd birthday I got her a beautiful Melissa and Doug wooden jigsaw from Amazon it was beautiful.
For the 10 year old I’m sure she would love some bath bombs, lush or bomb cosmetics are good.

TalkingOrmer · 02/09/2019 19:27

@IggyAce you won’t even have to wrap these LINK

allatonce99 · 02/09/2019 19:36

@Lc2006 I can't remember where I saw it written and I thought they usually have one in August. Hmmm just wait and see I guess!

101Robin · 02/09/2019 19:45

My Landsend order turned up yesterday and the slippers are like sinking my feet into clouds. I've barely taken them off all day

Chocolateteabag · 02/09/2019 19:50

Does anyone know when/how QVC do Elemis one sales ("tsv" is the phrase I'm told I need to look out for)

DM would love some marine cream but it's 😭£££ and apparently the best way to get it is via QVC 🤷‍♀️

I'm a complete qvc novice - I have looked at it on tv and it always feels quite stressful?

Namechangedzzz · 02/09/2019 19:53

@101Robin which slippers did you get please and were they true to size?

snowmanshoes · 02/09/2019 20:02

Hi all!

Just checking in to say hi - returning to this fabulous forum for my 3rd or possibly even 4th year and can't wait to start planning. Had a quick read through and am going to definitely be getting those hot choc bombs!
just thought I'd add that body shop have their advent calendars online - lovely to have a nose at even if not ordering and also virgin wines are back with their wine advent calendar but instead of just doing the mixed one they are also doing an all red and all white one and more importantly a gin one! No idea if any good but thought I'd mention it - sorry no discount codes to add but will do my best to help over the coming months!

101Robin · 02/09/2019 20:31

Namechangedzzz I got these ones, although I got them when they were £10 and they're £15 now. They're true to size but snug.

dohraymefah · 02/09/2019 20:56

@lancslass17 My DD was bought the Leapfrog teapot/cake set for her 2nd birthday and she still plays with it now almost 4 years on. It's also loved by my almost 2 year old DS. This is the newer version of the one that DD got, and it's £15 at the minute.

newroundhere · 02/09/2019 21:15

I can't help you with QVC Chocolateteabag but have you looked at www.littleskinshop.com/? Disclaimer - I have bought from there before although I've done a bit of research as I wanted to buy some Elemis stuff (haven't got round to it yet!) and they seem to be legit.

They have Marine Cream for £44 and free postage, which isn't exactly cheap but much less than the £80+ rrp.

NoWordForFluffy · 02/09/2019 21:19

Asda has tubs of all the usual chocolate suspects for £4.00.
