To be THIS excited for Christmas?

It seems to happen every year as soon as it hits mid-May, I get like a 12 year old and get ridiculously excited for Christmas!!!

I never think much of it until I left a Christmas song on that had came on on shuffle and the guy next to me on the bus could clearly hear it through my headphones - weirdest look ever

Anyone else??? Or am I actually just completely weird? 😂

(I think my mum has always been the same so I've got it from somewhere!!)

Me too - my reasons are a bit different - i was raised by my grandfather who LOVED christmas. He's passed on now and every year when i think of christmas i think of him, it makes me feel close to him still - he used to start planning in May! I only start listening to christmas songs in October though.

In the nicest possible way I think you’re a bit weird! That said, I am looking forward to it this year - it will be my first non working Christmas in 40 odd years - by which I mean I will be retired, not that I’ve got Christmas day off for the first time ever! It will be very different.

I'm not actively excited about it now but I am looking forward to it this year. I was looking forward to it last year then my poor baby got hand, foot and mouth and cried all night the night before. He was so ill and so sad I couldn't really focus on anything else. I don't even remember my 3 year old opening her presents because I was so exhausted and distracted. They'll be 2 and 4 this year and hopefully not ill!

Our last 2 have been the most dire xmas' i've ever had. I dreaded them and they came and they were horrid and i was glad when they were over and it's making me tearful thinking about it!

I get excited after DD birthday in sept! But this year iv got to girl birth in October so probably look forward to Christmas once iv got that out the way and feel better 😂😂😂

I get very excited intermittently throughout the year - but then absolutely loathe the actual event. My brain is not quite with it.

Had a shit day, now listening to Christmas songs on the way home! My official xmas time starts in October, but I am basically excited for it all year round. The actual day I am not too fussed about but I LOVE December and I love planning! YANBU!
