@sideorderofchips Thanks!! Annoyingly I just missed it as it's back up to £30 again but will keep an eye on it as DS would love that.

For the people looking for Nintendo Switch, it's currently in Argos for £280 in a bundle with £30 e-Nintendo vouchers enclosed. When I bought online I then got a £10 free voucher (for spending over £100), which I then used towards the cost of a game in their sale.

13yo has briefly mentioned that he'd like a Switch but I'm not sure he'd actually use it or whether I want to encourage yet more screentime

Pressed to soon - basically I'm not quite sure whether to bite the bullet or leave it until November to see if he still wants one.

@imsorryiasked thanks for the pine needle tea, that's something fun to try at Christmas. I found a code (LAPSANG) that gives you 12% off too. Looks like they've always got some kind of code though.

As pp have mentioned Rex of London is great. I ordered one the large geometric candle holders and they are lovely and an amazing bargain for £4.95. I also ordered one of the small holders for £2.95. So pleased with them I have ordered a load more for presents and then showed my mum who also ordered another load! If you sign up to their club you get free delivery when you spend £20. Really good quality products

Anyone got any suggestions on filling a wooden advent calendar for a 3 year old? The drawers are tiny, about the size of a quality street but don’t really want sweets/ chocolate

Takemetoyour hair bands or clips, plastic tat jewellery if a girl. Playmobil people, stickers. Look in Poundland?

I bought a little wooden tree with tiny Christmas decorations on, I put a different decoration in each drawer of the advent calender so DC get to add another decoration every day, ending with the star for the top on Christmas eve. I got the tree in paperchase

Has anyone any tips on where to start for Dungeons & Dragons stuff? DS is 10 and is interested in getting a set, but there seems to be so many, I have no clue where to begin!
