Thank you for all the congrats and messages on the last thread. I didn’t reply to all of them as I thought it might be dull reading for everyone but I really appreciate the advice, understanding and general congratulatory comments. Bad news is I’m still stuck on the sofa feeling sick, but at least it won’t last forever (thank goodness!).

Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

In the post today, I received a very sought after confetti pop for my dd, from an absolutely amazing mnetter who refused to take any payment!
Not wanting to name (unless she wants to!) but thank you so, so much Flowers my dd will be over the moon to find Santa managed to get one.
Restored faith in humanity right here Smile

margaritasbythesea · 21/12/2018 20:51

Well done that mumsnetter Star Xmas Grin Star

Happy Christmas morning in the Jammiebammie House Smile

Emma Bridgewater have a pretty good sale on now, £12.99 for some lovely mugs and £5 on most (if not all) tea towels. Obviously delivery won't be until after Christmas now, but I'm tempted to order a mug for my friend's birthday in January.

Personwithnoname · 21/12/2018 21:55

Oh no. Now I want a lands end blanket. And it's too late. Sob

Theonlyoneiknow · 21/12/2018 21:58

Sorry about my LE moan - totally a first world problem. They were very apologetic but it won't arrive until 27th. I am more bothered than my dad will be. There are far worse things than that ! Off my soap box!

SleeptightDaisy · 21/12/2018 22:34

The fxguru app allows you to make a video in your home of Santa I'm not sure if they do a reindeer but you don't need to upload it anywhere so possibly more privacy.

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 21/12/2018 23:35

Well done to that mumsnetter. After today that made me feel a bit better. Nice to know there are some lovely people about.

starryeyedsnowgirl · 21/12/2018 23:35

Have noticed a few last minute bargains on amazon according to camel camel camel-

Hatchimals collectabkes series 3 £12.50

Lynx gift set with shower speaker £4.00

Polly pocket picnic set £3.99 as an add on

Vladimir Putin- life coach (well reviews and looks amusing) £4.99

Zoomed enchanted unicorn £44.99

Various Lego sets also at best price- some city, marvel and Star Wars ones, but check delivery dates. All of the above are able to be delivered in time for Christmas.

MissRainbowBrite · 22/12/2018 07:57

If any one has a Costco card it's well worth a visit for last minute toys. All toys they have left have some fab reductions. We picked up a National Geographic telescope, microscope and binoculars set for £18 down from almost £50. They had Hatchimals, KidKraft kitchens, Little People and a few other bits in ours yesterday.

ritzbiscuits · 22/12/2018 08:43

Some great half price toys in Tesco last night.

Didn't mean to, but got Playmobil pirate ship 5298 for £14.50. It's double the price on Amazon so really happy!

NoWordForFluffy · 22/12/2018 08:51

Luvabella is down to £69.99 in The Entertainer. I'm killing time in one waiting for Build a Bear to open next door!

NoWordForFluffy · 22/12/2018 08:52

And half price Hatchimals!

We're on our way up the the in-laws now to spend Christmas there, so I'm officially done and can no longer twitch. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for sharing all your bargains, saving me a fortune and enabling me to get some really lovely presents. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 22/12/2018 10:18

Lands End order arrived- woohoo!

Just found a hand-sized home in DS' winter coat (HOW???) - any suggestions for most bargainous plain blue winter coat (needs to be school-approved), or am I better off waiting for Boxing Day sales?

Another thank you to the poster of the Snowman and Snowdog dvd set - kids had a brilliant morning watching it!

handmademitlove · 22/12/2018 10:25

Try Regatta outlet. Sign up to the newsletter as they send regular reduction codes.

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 22/12/2018 10:30

I have finished both work as of 1 hr ago, and picking up parcels from PO.
Just waiting on LE and a couple of Gap sweatshirts which will be fine after Christmas as they're just sale extras for DD. Gap have absolutely the worse postage times- usually about 10 days seemingly. Hey ho.

Alanamackree · 22/12/2018 10:39

20% aveda with FLASH
Email said for 4 hours so valid until 2pm I think, this is their last day for Christmas delivery.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 22/12/2018 10:41

That's amazing jammie your dd will be so happy on Christmas day!!

Hatchimals are obviously not the in toy anymore loads of places are trying to sell them off!!!

I'm waiting on a last minute cutetito (dd2 changed her mind on what she wanted to give dd1) they are v cute for a blind bag type toy!! And some yeowww cat toys from Amazon. Left till last minute as last year the cats wouldn't leave any presents that had come into contact with them alone was impossible trying to wrap 😂

And it's a miracle DH has actually finished buying the presents he has to get (mine) before Christmas eve 🤣

imsorryiasked · 22/12/2018 10:54

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts how about this one
Fur trim is detachable

Vicious2018 · 22/12/2018 11:40

Dd is into hatchimals. I got her reduced price hatchimal twins and pack of those hatchimal mini eggs.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 22/12/2018 12:22
