Thank you for all the congrats and messages on the last thread. I didn’t reply to all of them as I thought it might be dull reading for everyone but I really appreciate the advice, understanding and general congratulatory comments. Bad news is I’m still stuck on the sofa feeling sick, but at least it won’t last forever (thank goodness!).

Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

In aldi they had little sellotape sets reduced to 50p. 3 festive tapes, a dispenser and 2 metallic markers in the set. Near the tills in my local.

fairiesandelves · 29/12/2018 23:08

John Lewis Christmas hampers now half price. Some in nice wicker hampers too.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 30/12/2018 10:24

Limbo hop has dropped back down to £9.99 on amazon.

BrightonBB · 30/12/2018 19:55

Limbo hop is also £9.99 at Smyths - great for a New Years Eve Party if you have a flat floor and space - my kids love it.

SleeptightDaisy · 31/12/2018 09:50

We've just bought a lovely artificial Christmas tree from wyevale garden centre down from £200 to £90. They also had offers on garlands and decorations.

newusernameforxmas · 31/12/2018 10:29

The Echo Dot 3 is down to £29.99 at the mo if you missed it on BF. Delivery end January though.

The code HELLO works to get 20% off at LandsEnd on top of the sale reductions. Just bought Supima towel sets for £24 each [2 Bath, 2 hand and 2 facecloths]. Very happy as they are fantastic quality towels. Colours a bit limited but even so.

Iggi999 · 31/12/2018 15:11

Thanks so much Recklessgran, saved another £8 off some boots I wanted Smile

Ewock · 31/12/2018 16:25

Thanks recklessgran I've bought some of those towels as well for when our bathroom is finished. Great saving.

imsorryiasked · 01/01/2019 08:43

Some really good reductions at Pandora

gaggiagirl · 01/01/2019 09:17

Thanks for the lands end code. There's a fleece blazer I quite fancy.

QOD · 01/01/2019 11:40

I really wish I’d bought two dog blankets from Celtic and co with the £20 off dammit

gaggiagirl · 01/01/2019 11:54

I have Celt regret too! And Lakeland 50% off regret!

Rockhopper81 · 01/01/2019 12:22

I bought these in Sainsbury’s today - at £9 they would’ve been a bargain, but they scanned at £5 each! Grin

I don’t suppose anyone has seen any offers on crayola washable paints? After some paints to do finger paint thank you cards from the little one. Can’t seem to find any in RL shops though

imsorryiasked · 01/01/2019 14:12

@PinkDaydreams have you tried Hobbycraft?

PinkDaydreams · 01/01/2019 14:17

No I haven’t, my nearest one is ages away!

LutherRalph1 · 01/01/2019 19:20

Any suggestions on a birthday gift for 16 yo? No real hobbies - approx £50

Huffahouse · 01/01/2019 19:39

15 year old loved her Naked Marshmallow Toasting kit.

PinkDaydreams · 01/01/2019 19:51

@LutherRalph1 how about a Thomas sabo bracelet? May even have enough money to buy a charm too

Betsy86 · 01/01/2019 19:53

Asda had some bargains today! Lots of the gift sets 75% off gift bags 25p boxes of ‘nicer’ crackers £1.25

PinkDaydreams · 01/01/2019 19:55

Mococo have a sale on Thomas sabo, £50 will easily buy a charm bracelet and charm. I have three bracelets and many charms, had them for years and they’ve lasted well. They came with a one year guarantee so if accidentally snapped they would replace free of charge.

Choconuts · 01/01/2019 20:01

Aveda have £10 off an order with free delivery and 2 free samples with code JAN19. I don't think there is a minimum spend but all products are over £10 anyway!

fairiesandelves · 01/01/2019 22:35

Thanks choconuts just ordered the blow dry accelerator !!

choccybiscuit · 02/01/2019 09:01

Thank you for the Aveda code. Just ordered a eyeliner pencil and two free samples! Smile
