Last minute things to do List

I'm just trying to think of everything I have to do next week (boys finish fri), without being super specific, could you post your last minute things to do list? I feel like I'm forgetting things but can't think! Maybe seeing it written here might remind someone else too.

Just fill car with petrol (on my way home from work on Saturday), stuff into gift bags wrap a couple of pressies, bake the promised chocolate cake for nephew No 1's family (Monday) and possibly a few other things like cheese twists.

Don't feel smug though - only me & cats home XMas day, them DSis & nephew No 4 round a couple of days later which will be all nibbles & party type food.

@Babygrey7 and @JaneJeffer there are plenty of people who share the jobs.
Posters may be just listing all the things that need to be done.

I have to clean the ensuite
Change the bedding
Cook the sausage rolls
Bring all the board games down
Hoover the entire house
Get petrol
Clean the oven
Clean the fridge and empty as much as I can out so it can be stocked with Christmas foods
Clean he windows
Get all the China and silverware wiped down and set on the table

By gosh, I'm a man doing all these womanly things on my list entirely by myself, however will I cope....

DH does a lot of the jobs in general - and Christmas dinner in our house is very much a shared effort!!

And I haven't ironed a thing (except an occasional neckerchief for Scouts when I have missed the regular basket) since DD was born. Even when DH spent 3 weekends a month (a consecutive fortnight, and 24 hours travelling either side) away for work, every month, for 4 years - it was one thing he really wanted to do to still be pulling his weight. (He did plenty when he was home, but that could wait a fortnight if he had it all done when he went away).

Food shop to do tomorrow- god help me!
Must remember bin bags
Party to cater for on Sunday
Need to make some sausage rolls, a cheesecake and peppermint bark
Going to parents for Christmas lunch which I am very excited about but need to decide and buy some cocktail ingredients for

Amazon delivered oven bulb today that kaputted weeks ago All fitted!

Just need bathroom bulb and a bulb for the kitchen worktop underlights. It's my version of the Christmas lights.

Have also completed some more tasks and ticked off my list. T'DAH!

Just need to load the car, drive a few hours and survive 4 days at in laws

I need to
Do the last off the ironing
Make cranberry
Make granola
Make desk (dds present)
Wrap desk
Change two beds and prepare room for guests
Wipe round and hoover on Xmas eve morning
Wrap a few late presents

Then I'm having a bloody good rest.

I think i’m done.

Need to go to the dump to get rid of the empties from last nights party.
Food shop coming in the morning at 6.30 so will make the gravy tomorrow.
Finish putting XHs present together (photos of DCs).
Everything is wrapped, I’ll get the turkey ready for roasting, put the presents under the tree.

After getting a box from Homebase that was too small and gathering up random beer bottle trays from Aldi, I have Frankensteined a box to put some Christmas presents into to post on Monday.

It has consumed almost an entire reel of duct tape to hold it together.

I know it won't get there for Christmas, but as long as it gets there in one piece, that's fine.

I want to get a few bits in tomorrow, post the parcel on Monday and then go on a day trip of some kind.

I'm sick of just doing stuff around the house and shopping.

I want to get out.

Travelling tomorrow so won’t get anything done....BUT..

...have to do the food shop (eek) and get a couple of extra stocking fillers for one of my DC to even things out...on Xmas Eve. Eek.

Oh, and make a Yule log and bake some bread with DD as promised...

Anything that hasn’t been done isn’t getting done now.

I’ve officially started Christmas, cracked open the quality street and watched back to back Nativity films.

I'm just starting my Christmas prep today... ran out of time. Still have house to clean, unpack and organise too.

Need to do food shop, buy gifts, wrap them, get decorations put up, clean entire house, organise furniture, get all the washing finished (about 10 lots, they all smell musty from being in storage). I'm cooking for 12 on Christmas day and 10 on Boxing day. Didn't go to bed last night, but still behind, so looks like no sleep until Christmas Day night!
