I'm just trying to think of everything I have to do next week (boys finish fri), without being super specific, could you post your last minute things to do list? I feel like I'm forgetting things but can't think! Maybe seeing it written here might remind someone else too.

Write Christmas cards for local friends and neighbours and post.
Make mince pies.
Pick up Christmas meat.
Finish online food order for Sunday.
And then relax and enjoy Christmas 🎄

CakeNinja · 17/12/2018 18:12

I am going to clear out all the kitchen cupboard this week (not particularly a Christmas job but something that does need doing before the influx of Christmas food arrives) and empty and clean the fridge.
Other than that, buy presents, wrap presents, change bedding on Sunday...
I don’t consider this last minute though, there’s still a whole week to go!

I have to defrost the freezer - boo! and clean out the fridge.
.wrap the last of the presents
Buy beer for visitors
Work out when I’m buying the fresh food, maybe Sunday.
Pin down who’s actually coming for Christmas dinner, it’s all a bit up in the air for various reasons
Get a couple of birthday presents
Buy bin bags, dishwasher tablets etc.
Try to find the napkins I’m sure I bought
Run the tableware through the dishwasher as most is only used for big gatherings
Remember to buy salt, keep forgetting

It’ll all work out though, we’ll have a nice time.
