Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it [thanks

Thanks for the new thread. I have missed a few days, would anyone be able to re post the deal on remote control plug switches as I can't find it. Thanks

NotReve · 03/12/2018 20:20

Glad the scratch off card was of use to some! I’d really like to get a gift like that so hope they’re well received Grin

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 03/12/2018 20:21

DD wanted trendy Kanken backpack for Christmas. Full size usually around £70/80 but Skatehut selling a few colours off for 59. I then noticed if you sign up for email, you get another £5 off. Makes it a bit less painful. Free delivery too.

fairiesandelves · 03/12/2018 20:21

Me again! I forgot I need something to project stars/planets/space things (!) onto the ceiling and walls...I don’t really want to spend more then £15 but all I’ve found are more then that! Has anyone spotted one or can recommend one?

Thanks for the placemat help! I forgot about NOTHS!

PhannyMcNee · 03/12/2018 20:42

Picked up the HP pop up book for £22 in Asda, thank you RJ

Jammiebammie · 03/12/2018 20:58

lego there’s this and this on amazon, quite a few others too but the reviews on these look good.

Pixie2015 · 03/12/2018 21:24

Today spotted the Lindt selection box in Tesco - it was calling my name so accidentally slipped into my shopping basket.

Would love to hear reviews on the hygge bands as I love sea salt handy bandsx

BuzzOff · 03/12/2018 21:31

Ahh yes, the reduced advent calendars in Tesco, I bought the Thornton's continental one today, reduced from £6 to £3. Unfortunately it seems to be a time traveling machine as I am currently on December 12th ! Xmas Blush

Pumpkintopf · 03/12/2018 21:33

@Spam88 that's a great website for nail varnish, thank you! Thanks

YahBasic · 03/12/2018 21:33

Has anyone seen any decent deals on the Philips Hue White Ambiance kit? Must be bayonet fitting - which seems to be the struggle. Seen loads of them with the screw fitting, but hardly any bayonet.

Best I've seen is Amazon at 75 ish, but would love to get nearer to 60.

LavateLasManos · 03/12/2018 21:35

No bargains to add but can I vote "glad my glitter pussy gets a mention" as the next thread title?! Really tickled me Xmas Grin

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 03/12/2018 21:36

time for the 5 year old girl how about a my busy books? Maybe moana or princesses. Or a notebook and gel pens. For the 8 year old boy - maybe a how to draw comics book? Or a football? Or get them a selection box each and a fun keyring for their bags - smiggle do initial ones Or flying tiger.

Iggi999 · 03/12/2018 21:38

I really don't need them, but starting to want some nice plates for Christmas dinner - if anyone has come across some sparkly/shiny ones (and cheap!) please let me know!

Rockhopper81 · 03/12/2018 21:41

PhannyMcNee

Thanks for the Celtic & Co code - honestly, I’d never heard of them before, but bought a pair of sheepskin insoles each for my mum and dad as they’re buying each other a National Trust membership. Xmas Smile

YoufuckingkiddingmeRay · 03/12/2018 21:42

are there any wonderbly codes about at all? xx

SleeptightDaisy · 03/12/2018 21:44

Thanks for tip about the Playmobil advent calendars at Asda for £10 ordered and collected ready for next year.

LavateLasManos · 03/12/2018 21:50

Iggi these aren't particularly fancy but I'm rather tempted to get them myself festive sloth plates

Mary1935 · 03/12/2018 21:52

Buzz off 😂

PurpleTigerLove · 03/12/2018 21:56

Buzz - there’s 30% off Lottie doll website atm ( not all items ) . I used a code posted here to get 30% off . It may have been XMAS30??
I also posted a link a few pages back which will get you 10% off . Not sure if the codes will stack .
I’ve bought them for my mum for my nieces . Apparently they adore them

PlaymobilPirate · 03/12/2018 21:58

Does anyone have a free delivery code for Studio please?

ducksandacorns · 03/12/2018 22:02

@imsorryiasked Thanks for the Amazon lego watch spot, I went through Quidco too and got the £2.50 bonus and 9% cash back

winewolfhowls · 03/12/2018 22:07

Thanks for the yoshi link the stuff is lovely

WWYDhelpplease · 03/12/2018 22:07

Any deals on Harry Potter Lego anywhere?

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 03/12/2018 22:12

Thanks @nocuts, heading into town tomorrow will have a look for keychains. A busy busy book sounds good. Never would have thought of that. I do like the idea of notebooks and pens. Could get them one each so they have the same.

While I'm here any ideas for my nan. She tells me off everyone I buy her something. Last year we used only broken jewellery to make a jeweled photo frame from the kids. I was thinking DIY coasters for her holiday home, or something similar. She isn't particularly into anything does eat chocolates or drink. She needs to watch her sugar intake so nothing sweet.

Finally I have friend who insists on buying my DC gifts at Christmas, I wish she wouldn't because they already have so much, so would like to get her boys something. Both boys love cars, so any hotwheels related bargains? I have absolutely loved these threats. Have saved me so much and given me so many ideas. Have also cost me lots because I keep seeing stuff I need. Despite being done for my DC ages ago.
