Love looking at trees ! The kids made popcorn garlands this afternoon and ours is up now !

All the trees on here and on Facebook look nice and full mine always seems to look so bare and thin. I always have to put loads of tinsel on to fill it out a bit. Think I will get a new one next year

Ours went up today! We buy ours from a local country park where you go and tag your tree in November then cut it down yourself in December. We're a bit earlier than usual this year but have so much on that this was the only time we could fit it in!!

Ours went up today. This is our main one in the living room. Our ds decorates a small one in the day room.

Love the "tacky" Kitch ones, vintage ones, real ones, not-so-real ones, trees with flowers (didn't realize how lovely and romantic this looks!) and all the frosty/white tones. And I've always loved a popcorn garland or three ...

Love, love, love this thread! All the trees are fab and love the stories behind them. Mine is going up today. My dc are so excited, despite being hulking 14 and 11 year olds. I'll post a pic later.

Here’s my artificial one! Real one in a couple of weeks - I always worry all the needles will drop by Xmas Day!

@Youvegotafriendinme ..that looks gorgeous and just what I'm after. Got mine down from the loft and it suddenly looks sort of old and sad. I even got as far as putting it together and both dc asked if it was the same tree we always had as it seems so small. Which it will be now as they've grown over the years obviously.

So now trying to source a 7 ft as realistic looking as possible fake tree. Where did you get yours if you don't mind me asking?

Finished putting ours up yesterday - haven’t got a day light pic yet.

I put up the tree and lights last night, but was too tired to do the decorations. Just finished them now! Its an artifical one I've had for years, and decs collected over years too. I will be away from 21st-2nd Jan, so figured if it didn't go up now, it wouldn't be worth bothering! Feeling all Christmassy now [santa]
