My tree is going up this weekend, it's my first ever real tree I'm so excited!!!

Sorry to hijack. These trees look amazing and I can't wait to put mine up. But I was wondering those of you who have fake trees, what one would you recommend i get?

I have serious tree envy. DH wants a real tree again this year and I do love them but I was all up for buying a nice small fake one if I’m honest. Last year we’d just got back from Mexico, just moved into a new house and had very few decorations so we ended up with a mad, Mexican-inspired, tacky/kitschy affair. The year before that we lived in a tiny flat so we had a tiny real tree in a pot with some lights, a few bells and a picture of David Boreanaz on the top 😂

Iv been watching this thread with envy I love looking st peoples trees they are all so unique and personal. Iv had to buy a new tree and decorations this year and I couldn’t wait any longer. With two very energetic ds running round and a dog with a whip for a tail I don’t know how long it will last.

Ours went up last night. We keep it pretty simple with lots of individual baubles. We buy at least 2 new decorations each year and each one has a story behind it.

We have a few baubles that were my grandma's, 1 is a bauble my DM bought me when I was 18 for my own tree and another is one DH bought to give to me when we got engaged ❤️

@ChristmasIsMyFavourite I love you your tree! It reminds me of my grandma's tree that I used to decorate for her! That's a proper Christmas Tree!

Loving all the trees! As we’re doing Xmas this year I’m going to have 2 trees - artificial one in the lounge and a real one in the kitchen/dining. Can I theme them differently?

Those of you with a fake tree how do you get it to look so bushy & full? Mine cost me £100 last year and the photo on the box makes it look amazing but I just can't seem to do it!
