Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@startingafresh you might get lucky and see the price go down again, as it has been around a few years now and looks like being a game that sticks around, the price does vary quite a bit.

Alternatively, I’ve bought a game called Pharoah (by ravensburger) from Lidl for £13 instead of £28 on Amazon. Ds2 has had labyrinth for at least 3 years and loves it, this looks the same sort of thing but with traps and holes to make it fun and different enough to be worth having (I hope! Grin)

startingafresh1 · 17/11/2018 11:48

Rosablue thank you that's great advice.

NoWordForFluffy · 17/11/2018 11:54

If you have O2 Priority there's a 50% off code on the Ciate Mini Mani advent calendar, making it £25. I've no idea about good nail varnishes, but just putting it out there! Code is MANI25.

Im already disappointed in tbe Kindle Paperwhite - it is so thin and tiny. Its supposed to be a main present but it is the size of an envelope! (I know I should think of the environment!) If it goes down to £59 my head will explode!

whenwillthetwitchstrike · 17/11/2018 12:06

Boden seem to be doing 30% off from Tuesday.

SmithyDarlingLetsDoShots · 17/11/2018 12:11

I bought Jimmy Choo Flash 100ml instore in Superdrug yesterday for £25.

Iggi999 · 17/11/2018 12:11

Got an echo dot for a friend but need a google home mini for ds - mostly so I can call him for his tea from the one downstairs!

shash1982 · 17/11/2018 12:35

well dd got a slime shaker factory from Argos last year which was good.
Best part was after reading the instructions together she could do it on her own & they sell refills in Argos too.

This year dd has asked for an amazon fire 10 inch.
Does anyone know if they’ll come down in the Black Friday sales?
And still on the lookout for Nike huaraches trainers!

Tiggles · 17/11/2018 12:43

lokibear can you pad the paperwhite out with a case? Makes it more 'book-like' too. I got mine on offer on black friday last year else they seem to be really expensive too!

TheOwlandMe · 17/11/2018 12:44

@loki the kindle paperwhite is amazing. I love it so does my dh and we read loads. Much better for the eyes that reading on a screen or a traditional book in dim light (which i use to do nightly!) It really is a selling point that it’s thin and tiny Smile I did get the official case (but bet just as good ones out there) which opens like a book and adds weigh so I find that comfortable for reading. It’s a good “main” just add in the accessory cover. I’m sure they’ll be delighted!

MissRainbowBrite · 17/11/2018 12:45

@imsorryiasked do you have a link for the Amazon calendars? I've searched and can't get them to come up.

nickdrakeslovechild · 17/11/2018 12:48

I have a boden code which has £10 off a £30 spend. Only valid for today.

Nearlyadoctor · 17/11/2018 12:49

Thank you @Duchess very much for the Boden code. Much appreciated

hmslfc · 17/11/2018 12:50

Girlsnightin · 17/11/2018 13:19

@Beadley

Thanks for the intel. I might not need a Dot but now realise I NEED a smart plug!

Girlsnightin · 17/11/2018 13:31

@butterflymum

Thanks for the advice, I upgraded to the 3rd gen for an extra fiver.

Moltenpink · 17/11/2018 13:38

Just in case anyone got a £10 Boden gift voucher and doesn’t realise, I could use mine with no min spend, it worked on a clearance item and a free delivery code popped up automatically (C8N6). Really chuffed!

notapizzaeater · 17/11/2018 13:59

Hubby wants a dot. It I really can't see what he'd use it for

BeBesideTheSea · 17/11/2018 14:01

Boden £10 off £30 WYDMEEHAYUA0

LokiBear · 17/11/2018 14:19

I think im going to have to dress it up in another box for dd7 - her almost 2yo sister has a kitchen which is massive. I have a paperwhite and I love it. Dd7 is a modern day Matilda and has wanted a kindle for ages so it is the right call. I think im just sad that my baby has grown up so fast!

PiggeryPorcombe · 17/11/2018 14:21

Just annoyingly marking place Xmas Smile

MsMiaWallace · 17/11/2018 14:35

Dot is only £19.99 @ Very

Drummingisfun · 17/11/2018 14:41

Got my g+b from amazon this morning.
Quite annoyed that the seals are intact as I now have to give them to intended recipients!

Went to smyths this morning (but to lool at car seats) was hideous. Packed and grabby screamy whiney kids (including my own!) everywhere. I think I'll be ordering online Grin
